Pike gets big overtime win over Mt. Vernon Fortville

Without question, the biggest game of the entire night was the Class 4A showdown between Pike and Mt. Vernon Fortville. Safe to say, this game more than lived up to the hype with this one being back-and-forth throughout the entire contest. With 30 combined made threes and overtime, the Pike Red Devils were able to survive MVF 84-81. Pike was led by [player_tooltip player_id='2194328' first='Jahari' last='Miller'] with 28 points with both [player_tooltip player_id='2892469' first='Ian' last='Macon'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2266896' first='Isaiah' last='Hill'] adding 17 points, as well. MVF was led by [player_tooltip player_id='1728587' first='Luke' last='Ertel'] with 26 points and Jamaree Collins with 19 points. A true classic of a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140354' first='Drew' last='Volz'] leads South Ripley to 14th win

The South Ripley Raiders have been one of the top teams in all of Class 2A this season and that was further proven with them getting their 14th win of the season tonight. Behind 28 points from junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140354' first='Drew' last='Volz'], South Ripley defeated Southwestern (Hanover) 85-68. Sophomore prospect [player_tooltip player_id='2539946' first='Eli' last='Gilpin'] added 22 points for South Ripley. Southwestern was led by [player_tooltip player_id='2824041' first='Quinton' last='Lewis'] with 19 points. This was a win that earned South Ripley the ORCV Championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='2403758' first='Carter' last='Biggs'] sets record for Western

A strong argument can be made for the single best player performance of the night going to Western senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2403758' first='Carter' last='Biggs']. After scoring 36 of a total of 50 points, Briggs broke Western's single game scoring record. That performance also earned Western a win over Rossville 75-72. This was Western's 8th win of the season. A tremendous performance from Biggs tonight.
