Another great week of basketball is over and once again we had a bunch of great performances by alot players. PrepHoops went back and took a look at all the top performers from both ND and SD articles that were written this past week.

Aiden is having arguably one of the best seasons of any player in the entire state in any class. Aiden continued that run on tuesday night vs Linton when he had a Nikola Jokic type of triple double game with 28/14/11 to lead his #1 ranked 19-0 team to an undefeated regular season. He doesn't just lead his team on the stat sheet every night he also leads by example, this kid never gets outworked or out hustled and probably finishes each game with the most floor burns. Tasked with guarding the other teams best player no matter the position hes always up to the task and just wants to do whatever it takes to help his team win.

Bridger was pretty much looking like prime Clay Thompson on tuesday vs Linton as he was on 🔥 making 6-8 from the land of 3. It didn't matter if he was shooting them off screens in transition or just regular catch and shoot out of there half court offense they were going in that night. Rittenbach made atleast one three in each quarter. Not just a shooter he plays hard defensively and always makes the extra pass to an open teammate, seems to be a quiet leader on the floor for this team.

Ethan had 18 points last tuesday vs Linton and he did it in a variety of ways, the skilled sophmore scored in transition off of steals and finished confidently with his left hand in traffic, ethan also shot 2/4 on three's and always brings a alot of other intangibles to the game. Energetic/Effort/Enthusiasm/Unselfish and Confident are all words i would use to describe Ethan on the floor. Hes grown alot as a player since the beginning of the season.

Brody went for 19 points vs Mclean and was $ from three going 5/6 from behind the arc. Was impressed by how he hit his 3's in all different ways, coming off of set plays/curling off screens and in transition also showing he has deep range nocking one down from 23ft. Does a great job of getting to his spot and elevating for his middy pull-up. Plays hard and is very athletic will usually get the assignment of guarding the other teams best guard but also has the build and strength to guard bigger players. Brody is definitely a player to keep your 👀 on for the rest of this season and future!

William scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds vs Our Redeemer's on thursday, also added a huge two hand slam off a beautiful pass from earsley off a set play. William has been almost an automatic double/double guy here of late, also adds a couple of blocks per game not to mention how many other shots he changes with his length. Long athletic kid who's moves very well and gets up and down the court quickly.

Teigen scored 19 points vs Our Redeemer's and is a cheat code on the offensive end as a guard because hes got a great post up game with fabulous footwork and can score with either hand. In transition he plays fast but under control setting up his teammates and hitting them before they know there open. He just passed 600 career assists 👀 👀 🔥 🔥!

Nolan put in 28 points vs wilton and was super impressive driving to the basket and finishing string all game. Did it on the defensive end also as he grabbed several rebounds and started the teams fast break either scoring himself or kicking to open teammates. Was the go to guy in this game for his team and when they needed a basket they went to nolan either in a high isolation set or low post touch. Extremely difficult to matchup with defensively with his speed/strength/size and quickness, hes one of the elite players in the state.

Scores 23 points 6 or 7 rebounds vs wilton and was realy aggressive from start to finish of that game offensively. Sweet looking jump shot from three he does it from inside and out. Had several baskets in transition in this game. Defensively hes got great positioning and intensity, hard to beat off the bounce.

Scored 20 points vs oakes as he hit 4 three's and several middy pull up jumpers off of Iso plays. He has a wicked crossover that froze his defender several times. Ultra athletic and competitive is what best describes Colby as a player. Colby plays and looks bigger then his listed 6'0 and guards anyone other then the 5 on the floor.

Beau is having a heck of a season and again had another big game putting up 28 points vs Lamoure on thursday. Thorpe nocked down 4 three's (hes already got the all-time three point career record and is closing in on the season record also). Thorpe scored of his go to middy pull-up several times, hes got such a nice touch when he shoots he gets alot of friendly bounces and rolls. Beau scores off of catch n shoot/middypull-ups and from distance hes a true three level scorer. Aggressive defender and rebounder this year he always plays hard. His game reminds me alot of how Scottie Pippen played, does everything very well!

Ty had 22 points and 13 rebounds vs Bishop Ryan friday night. He wasn't just dominant in thise areas he also lead the way in the areas of energy and intensity. Human highlight reel week in and week out as he once again showcased his speed and extreme athleticism with another chase down block pretty much hitting his head on the backboard but more importantly set the tone for the rest of the game.

Blake once again showed why hes one of the states best players as he went for 25 points vs Watertown on sat. Was great at the free throw line making 11/12. Showed pg skills handling the ball in the half court or vs the press. Had nice strong finishes at the rim through contact. Three level scorer with range and great touch. Super athletic had couple of steals that he took the other way himself for show time slams 🔥!

Stellen scored 16 points but was a much bigger force then that vs Spearfish saturday. Very strong on the block and his physicality was difficult to handle all game long, he also stepped outside to nock down a three and it was a smooth/clean looking shot. Was dominant on the boards by just being more physical and hungry then eveyone else on the floor.

Kamden had 20 points vs Lincoln saturday and did all while running the show for his team. Lighting quick guard finished at the rim in transition on a sweet looking tough reverse layup for an and 1! Iverson crossover got him to his spots for his scores or got teammates good looks off the drive and kick game. Very disruptive defender as he uses his ultra quick feet to his advantage along with his quick hands leading to steals and run outs for easy baskets.

Smooth shooting lefty with unlimited range had 19 points vs O'Gorman saturday. Showed nice ability to get to the rim and finish also on bad closeouts. Brings a swagger to the team and has a very short memory when he does miss. He makes alot of tough contested shots that most wont take.

Nicknamed the "Red Barron" this kid is just alot of fun to watch play. Attacks the basket and will finish with both hands. Leader on the floor by how he plays. Scored 15 points, always seems to hit a couple threes each game i've watched. Always rebounds/defends and just does a little bit of everything for this team. Guards and battles eveyone tough each play, never gets outworked on any possession.

20 points vs Huron has a super quick release with great range to go with it. Plays smartly and intensely on the offensive end of the floor. Liked his low quick crossover to beat defenders and get them off balance. Made several tough shots for his team in key spots of his game.

Jackson scored 19 points looked like the go to guy in couple of the quarters of the game. Showed nice offensive skills. Used his size to score in several different aspects of the game and was a key player for his team on both ends of the floor. Strong and athletic player who seemed to guard eveyone on the floor at times, had a couple of blocks and big time rebounds.
