Colby fully healthy came into districts with alot of confidence an it showed as he averaged 18.3ppg in the tournament. Colby is extremely different to guard in 1vs1 situations and when he has the midrange jumper going hes about impossible to stop. In transition is where Colby is at his best amd lamoure put a premium on pushing the pace in this tournament and getting out and running on defensive rebounds. Colby was names to the All District Team

Scored 20 points vs oakes as he hit 4 three’s and several middy pull up jumpers off of Iso plays. He has a wicked crossover that froze his defender several times. Ultra athletic and competitive is what best describes Colby as a player. Colby plays and looks bigger then his listed 6’0 and guards anyone other then the 5 on the floor.

-Does nice job creating for teammates and setting them up to score easy baskets

-Extremely good on ball defender with very quick hands

-Elite athlete that has become a very good basketball player

-Improved shooting from outside and inside the arc

-Arguably the hardest guard to keep infront of you as a defender has multiple ways to beat you

-Loves to dish and get teammates involved but now understands when the team needs him to take over the game

-Expecting to rise & lead the “new look” Loboes this season

-Best all-around LLM baller with speed & top-notch shooting

-Sees the floor well, good decision making, go-to guy in crucial situations

WHY?

The Loboes have a coaching change, so it remains to be seen what style and tempo LLM will play with. Either way, I like Colby’s game and I think he will be a high-quality player in Class B. He is a gifted and talented shooter from the 3-point arc. Expect Thielges to fill it up from deep. He is also a PG who runs the show, directs traffic, and sets up others. Colby is a heady player and an all-around impressive athlete.
