Six Standouts From Mid-Week Games

Due to Sectional play beginning on the girls side there are far fewer boys' games on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings followed by a full slate on Thursday. As always, Prep Hoops Indiana had eyes and ears in gyms all across the state, plus boots on the ground, the last two nights. The 6'4" athletic wing/forward finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the Warriors. However, that game may have led to some tired legs on Tuesday night as they fell at Liberty Christian 69-65. Henderson was a standout in both games for the Trailblazers. The athletic, explosive guard came out of the gate hot scoring eight points in the first quarter and then started dishing it off in the second quarter collecting four assists. He went on to lead all scorers in the game with 31 points to go along with 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. The 6'0" playmaker finished with 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists to lead Tecumseh to a 76-74 victory over Liberty Christian. The 5'10" junior guard connected 11 three-point shots on his way to a game-high 35 points as South Bend Riley rolled to a 92-58 win over Mishawaka Marian.
