The Carmel Greyhounds may be the only team that can stop Fishers in Sectional 8 this season and a big reason to that is because of senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561129' first='Julian' last='Vogt']. The 6'5 wing has been so good on the perimeter this season for the Greyhounds and his elite shooting should carry well into Sectional play. Coming into the postseason, Vogt is averaging 11.0 points per game. You can watch him when Carmel opens up Sectional play vs the winner of Zionsville and Noblesville.

One of the top under-the-radar guards in the Indianapolis area for the last few years has been [player_tooltip player_id='1728675' first='Elexander' last='Harris'] out of Arsenal Tech High School. This year has been kind of the breakout season for him averaging 13.5 points and 3.5 assists per game for the Titans. Harris is a quick, shifty guard that plays with high athleticism in the backcourt. You can watch him when Arsenal Tech opens up Sectional play vs Lawrence Central.

The Columbus North Bulldogs are one of the dark horse teams to keep an eye on in Class 4A this postseason with them having one of the best rising juniors in the 2027 class. [player_tooltip player_id='2141046' first='Austin' last='Perry'] has continued to see his stock rise throughout the year with him leading the Bulldogs with 19.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. The 6'1" athletic guard is excellent at getting to the basket off of the bounce while also being a knockdown shooter, as well. You can watch him when Columbus North opens up Sectional play vs Columbus East.

A junior that you need to start keeping an eye on the rest of the season and into his senior year is Bloomington South's power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2470608' first='Duncan' last='Combs']. A multi-sport athlete, Combs is one of the best power forward in all the state and just has an ability to take over a game for the Panthers. With great size at 6'5, Combs also has some real nice skill when it comes to the midrange and around the basket. You can watch him when Columbus North opens up Sectional play vs Martinsville.

A player out of the in-state 2028 class you may want to start keeping tabs on is Muncie Central guard [player_tooltip player_id='2540036' first='Jaxson' last='Johnson']. The 6'2 sophomore is leading the Bearcats in scoring this season with his 16.4 points per game while shooting 53 percent from the field. The long, fluid, athlete is very versatile on the wing at both ends of the floor and will be a breakout player in the 2028 class sooner than later. You can watch him when Muncie Central opens up Sectional play vs Richmond.
