[player_tooltip player_id='2048131' first='Jacob' last='David'] etched his name all over this game, contributing a crucial 24 points on a scorching 60% from the field. Where David differentiates himself is his insane shot-creating ability, nailing fully contested fadeaway looks with confidence and ease. Being a consistently reliable starter for Rock Canyon, David has taken the Jags to full throttle and a dominating 16-3 record. Not only was his scoring prolific, but his 5 rebounds and 4 assists proved to be huge in the late stretch. Expect more electrifying performances from David in the near future.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107072' first='Oliver' last='Junker'] took fire in the close loss against Rock Canyon, owning the paint and asserting his size, resulting in easy looks inside. Junker thrives in Mountain Vista's dynamic offensive system, where he enjoys crashing the glass and capitalizing on key second-chance opportunities. Tacking on 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals, it's clear that Junker has elevated his game to new heights on the Flyers this past AAU season. The Golden Eagles are sitting just fine at 15-4 despite the loss, and Junker looks confident as ever.

[player_tooltip player_id='2592262' first='Cooper' last='Ellwood'] was a defensive pest who put his matchup in a safe and threw away the key. Creating opportunities in transition is where Ellwood specializes, poking the rock away from his opponent and running out for dynamic layups. With a soft touch around the rim and consistent with both hands, Ellwood's bag is just being discovered at the top, when there's still so much to be discovered in the next year. Ellwood's progression has been exponential, and his 15-point, 4-assist, 2-steal performance was a clear representation of his confidence all season long.

[player_tooltip player_id='2393198' first='Hudson' last='Rooney'] fought hard to keep Mountain Vista in the game, scoring 19 points and bringing down 8 rebounds. The 6'3 playmaker utilizes his frame well, attacking the defense's weak spot and getting creative while forcing separation on offense. The #10-ranked SG in his class never let off the gas against a tough Jaguars squad that stayed a step ahead this time. Second-chance opportunities come easily to Rooney, which is why I wouldn't be surprised if we see Rooney take over in the next Jaguar-Golden Eagle outing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2478614' first='Kai' last='Valentine'] was an all-around beast for the Jaguars, who couldn't be contained across all levels of the floor. Shooting 5/8 from the interior and winding up at the free-throw line often, Valentine absorbs contact and invites opposing fouls his way. Scoring, however, is just scratching the surface of Valentine's impact. Acquiring a crucial 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, and a block, Valentine's presence was felt by every player who laced up. Staying in between passing lanes and communicating well on screens, the 6'5 superstar continues to show up and show out.
