January was a proving ground, and these 4A/3A forwards stepped up when it mattered most. Night after night, they impacted winning in multiple ways by scoring through contact, cleaning the glass and making the defensive plays that swing momentum. Whether it was timely buckets, relentless rebounding, or versatility on both ends, this group showed they can be counted on down the stretch. If you're looking for forwards driving team success, these are the names you need to know.

Summeril had an impressive January run and made it clear just how vital he is to Woodland Park on both ends of the floor. The sophomore captain averaged 15.1 points per game, highlighted by a season high 26, and found the scoring column in double figures in all eight contests. His impact went well beyond points, recording three double doubles and posting a dominant 13 rebound performance that showcased his physicality and motor. Summeril is establishing himself as a premier interior presence, finishing through contact and owning the glass, while also stretching defenses with a reliable jumper. His consistency, leadership and versatility have been a major driver of Woodland Park's recent success

Flaherty continues to lead Colorado Academy in scoring as a sophomore, but his January impact was defined by the work he did in the paint. He posted a season high 16 point outing while averaging 5.4 rebounds per game, showing a growing commitment to the dirty work. Flaherty consistently establishes strong position inside, using sound fundamentals and proper box out technique to keep opponents off the glass. His ability to secure rebounds and finish possessions adds another layer to his value and makes him more than just a scorer. That interior presence has helped Colorado Academy control tempo and close out games during a productive stretch

Lewis put together an impressive four game stretch in January for St. Mary's, scoring 19, 15, 14 and 10 points while impacting the game in multiple ways. He was especially effective in transition, consistently filling lanes and finishing strong at the rim. Lewis does a great job using his body to create space on layups and play through contact. As defenses collapsed, he made them pay with his ability to knock down the three, showing confidence and touch from the perimeter. His scoring versatility and off ball instincts made him a tough cover throughout the stretch and a steady offensive presence for St. Mary's

Bauer-Reeves has been a cornerstone for Brush all season, and his January stretch marked his most complete basketball to date. The freshman averaged 14.8 points and 7.6 rebounds, recording two double doubles and consistently impacting winning. He leads the team in scoring, rebounds, steals and blocks per game, underscoring just how much responsibility he already carries. Inside Bauer-Reeves plays with strength and purpose, carving out space and finishing through contact while controlling the glass. As his skill set continues to grow, his physical presence and all around production make him a matchup problem and a foundational piece for Brush moving forward

Mbaindiguim made the most of his increased minutes in January, turning opportunity into production for Lincoln. The freshman showed flashes as a scorer, but his biggest impact came on the defensive end. He was active and disruptive, consistently finishing games with three or more steals and creating extra possessions for his team. His effort on the glass stood out as well, highlighted by a 10 rebound performance that showed his motor and instincts. Mbaindiguim's length, energy and defensive presence have added a new dimension to Lincoln's rotation, and his growth over the stretch points to a player who is earning trust and carving out a meaningful role
