DIVISION 1 ... BELOIT MEMORIAL
Beloit Memorial won a pair of games last week and stayed one game behind Waterford in the Southern Lakes Conference standings heading into the rematch at Barkin Arena on February 13. The Knights opened the week with a big non-league win over nearby Hononegah, Illinois. The senior guard trio of Amare Hereford Amare Hereford 6'2" | PG Beloit Memorial | 2026 State WI , Brock Hodges Brock Hodges 6'0" | PG Beloit Memorial | 2026 State WI and Treviaun Jordan led the way versus Hononegah. Hereford had 36 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and four steals, Hodges added 22 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals, and Jordan contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. On Friday, Beloit Memorial posted an 89-80 win at Lake Geneva Badger. Hereford led the way with 44 points and in the process surpassed 2,000 points for his four-year career. He also had seven rebounds, five assists and five steals in the contest. Hodges added 26 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals while Jordan pitched in 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

DIVISION 2 ... NEW BERLIN WEST
It was a pretty darn impressive week for New Berlin West as the Vikings posted three wins, including big Woodland West Conference triumphs over Greendale and rival New Berlin Eisenhower. For good measure, New Berlin West played an outstanding game in turning back Niles North 69-50 in the Wisconsin vs. Illinois Border Battle. Junior Zach Hewitt Zach Hewitt 6'5" | SF New Berlin West | 2027 State WI led five players in double figures in the win over Greendale with 22 points. He also had seven rebounds in the game. Senior Luke Krueger Luke Krueger 6'1" | PG/SG New Berlin West | 2026 WI had a big outing in the win over Eisenhower as he finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Against Niles North, junior Jayce Cook Jayce Cook 6'2" | SG New Berlin West | 2027 State WI had 26 points and three shots made from three-point range while seniors Evan Kern Evan Kern 6'3" | SG New Berlin West | 2026 State WI and Elijah Gammage Elijah Gammage 6'4" | SF New Berlin West | 2026 WI contributed 20 and 14 points, respectively.

DIVISION 3 ...LAKE MILLS
One of the state's top teams and programs, Lake Mills won three contests last week to improve to 14-1 on the season. The L-Cats beat Beloit Turner in a non-league game to open the week, registering a 66-64 triumph in overtime. Brady Benish Brady Benish 6'0" | SG Lake Mills | 2026 State WI led the way for Lake Mills with 20 points, followed by Tyler Wollin Tyler Wollin 6'4" | SF Lake Mills | 2027 State WI with 18 and Collin Christian Collin Christian 6'1" | CG Lake Mills | 2027 State WI with 16. Lodi had an easier time posting its other two wins as the L-Cats turned back Lodi 65-38 and Edgerton 77-34. In the win over Edgerton, Wollin scored a career-best 31 points while Ashton Winger Ashton Winger 6'3" | SF/SG Lake Mills | 2026 WI added 13 and Christian contributed 12. The L-Cats have another big week ahead with league games against Waupun and rival Lakeside Lutheran.

DIVISION 4 ... FALL CREEK
Black River Falls, Osseo-Fairchild and Stanley-Boyd became the latest victims of the strong basketball squad at Fall Creek as the Crickets defeated all three opponents last week to improve to 12-2. Emerging junior forward Miles Schmidgall Miles Schmidgall 6'7" | SF Fall Creek | 2027 State WI was huge in all three wins, netting 10 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in a 71-59 triumph over Stanley-Boyd. The 6-foot-7 forward also had 11 points and 17 rebounds versus Osseo-Fairchild and 17 points and 11 boards in an 80-50 win over Black River Falls. Jackson Tangley Jackson Tangley 6'1" | PG/SG Fall Creek | 2027 State WI also had a big week with 22 points against Stanley-Boyd and 14 against Osse-Fairchild.

DIVISION 5 ... DRUMMOND
Drummond moved into first place by itself in the Northern Lights Conference with wins over Mellen and Mercer. The Lumberjacks also registered an impressive non-league triumph over Webster to improve to 11-2. Cameron McKinney had 17 points and seven rebounds while Alberto Perez Alberto Perez 6'3" | SF WI Carrera came off the bench to scored 10 points and grab nine rebounds in the 55-47 win over Mellen. In the 53-38 win over Webster, Jadon Blatsch led the way with 15 points while Aaron Christenson Aaron Christenson 6'2" | SF/SG Drummond | 2027 WI added 11 points and 12 rebounds. Backup Jacob Quaderer Jacob Quaderer 6'4" | C WI led the way in a 63-27 win over Mercer with 22 points.
