There are guys that you just trust to make the big shot and Greenfield has the luxury of two sharing a backcourt together. Securing the top seed in the 2A classification, Greenfield has had a ton of success this season and when Winborne provides production + timely shot making, it's rare that they lose. As a Junior, Winborne is averaging 10.4 Points, 2.2 Rebounds, 1.3 Assists, and 1.0 Steals per game. He's doing all of that on 47/43/50 splits. The free throw volume is so low that I think that average will come up because he shoots it so well from three at a really steady volume (4.9 Attempts Per Game). Winborne has the handle to be a secondary creator, attack closeouts, and finish in crafty fashion around the cup. He's a naturally tough kid that is willing to take charges and compete for 50/50 balls. Winborne's knack for timely shot making is the real reason he made this list today, Greenfield is going to need him to hit a big one at some point on this run, he'll be ready to do it.

Holmes is at a very unique spot in his journey through his high school career. He's established himself as a bonafide division one prospect and an extremely talented wing with a versatile game. Leading the #3 seed The Burlington School (16-11) into the playoffs, they're going to need Holmes to play like the best player in the classification to cruise through and secure a championship. The beautiful thing is he's more than capable of that. Holmes is averaging an impressive 18.5 Points, 4.0 Rebounds, 1.8 Assists, and 1.8 Steals per game, all on 50/35/62 splits. Holmes possesses true three level scoring ability and he does it in a smooth fashion. He's a great shooter off the catch and becoming a more and more dynamic above the rim athlete in transition. There's a lot of talent around him, they've spent the last 8 months testing themselves to prepare for this run right here, and Holmes is 100% capable of leading TBS on a deep playoff run and maybe a state title. If he can do that, he'll be even more stamped than he already is.

Swindell is one of North Carolina's premier mismatch forwards with his inside/out ability, embracing of physicality, and willingness to fit in amongst other talented players. Caldwell Academy is 19-9 on the year and the #2 overall seed in the 2A division. Swindell posses the ability to handle the ball in space and initiate offense from time to time. He's a high quality catch and shoot option from beyond the arc. Swindell often exploits mismatches, using his slick handle and footwork to abuse slower bigs off the bounce, or just bully smaller guards when presented with that matchup. He's got real touch around the rim + the in-between area and is a threat for put-backs with his offensive rebounding instinct. Caldwell is a real threat to win it all and defend their 2A title. If Swindell can be a major factor on that run (hint: he will) I fully expect more next level programs to jump into the mix with him.

McKoy is a two way piece that can fit in alongside any backcourt. He possesses the ability to play both on or off the ball and is capable of getting 30 if you need him to. Harrells Christian has had a really successful season with a 26-7 record and the #6 seed in the stacked NCISAA 2A bracket. McKoy is averaging 17.8 Points, 7.1 Rebounds, 4.3 Assists, 1.7 Steals, and 1.2 Blocks per game. He's doing all of that on 53/28/71 shooting splits. McKoy gets downhill at will and is a dynamic player in transition, turning defense into offense instantaneously. He's not the most efficient outside shooter but capable of getting hot + hitting them off the bounce making him a threat from out there, especially on the right night. Defensively, McKoy is all over the floor and with a big playoff run, has the kind of game that coaches will really appreciate as the games get tougher. McKoy and Harrells are looking for a magical playoff run, they're more than capable of beating every team in the classification.

Freeman is one of North Carolina's most prolific scorers and is looking to wrap up a magical career by helping lead Wayne Country Day on a cinderella run to the NCISAA 2A State Championship. Wayne Country Day is 24-10 on the season and the #8 overall seed in the 2A bracket. Freeman has scored over 2000 points in his career and it's largely due to how strong his frame is combined with his 3 level scoring touch. Some kids are wired to score the basketball, Freeman is one of those kids. Freeman has also shown the ability to play the point, proving he's more than just a bucket getter. Freeman is a major leader on this Wayne Country Day team, they go as he goes and they have a chance to be a real factor in this bracket if Freeman can find a way to peak at the right time and fill it up every time out. A deep run will only help give him more next level options as the talented senior is trying to narrow it down.

Motta has been a consistent producer and winner at Trinity Christian all season long and he does it at both ends of the floor. Trinity Christian has the ability to play super uptmepo or slow it down with this group and they've been really successful with it, largely due to Motta's ability to create offense in different situations. With a 25-4 record on the season, Trinity Christian has themselves locked in as the #7 seed, narrowly missing on the double bye. Motta is averaging 17.0 Points, 4.8 Rebounds, 2.5 Assists, and 2.1 Steals per game. Add in 53/45/76 shooting splits to that equation and it looks like we have a legit full scholarship (at minimum) prospect on our hands. Motta possesses deep range, a ton of confidence, and the ability to make good reads in ball screens, making him a real weapon in those situations. Motta contributes on the glass, maintains high efficiency offensively, and is still developing both physically and with his skillset. Trinity is a real darkhorse to win it all and Motta could really stamp himself even further if he's able to help them do it.
