Over the past few months, he has been playing some of the best basketball of his high school career and we don’t expect that to change during the semi-finals. He has the ability to score in the half-court, but where he truly excels is in transition where he is able to put his athletic ability to use.

McKoy is a two way piece that can fit in alongside any backcourt. He possesses the ability to play both on or off the ball and is capable of getting 30 if you need him to. Harrells Christian has had a really successful season with a 26-7 record and the #6 seed in the stacked NCISAA 2A bracket. McKoy is averaging 17.8 Points, 7.1 Rebounds, 4.3 Assists, 1.7 Steals, and 1.2 Blocks per game. He’s doing all of that on 53/28/71 shooting splits. McKoy gets downhill at will and is a dynamic player in transition, turning defense into offense instantaneously. He’s not the most efficient outside shooter but capable of getting hot + hitting them off the bounce making him a threat from out there, especially on the right night. Defensively, McKoy is all over the floor and with a big playoff run, has the kind of game that coaches will really appreciate as the games get tougher. McKoy and Harrells are looking for a magical playoff run, they’re more than capable of beating every team in the classification.

Has taken the next step production wise and is a player that HCA will need down the stretch of the season if they hope to make a championship push. The ability to knock down shots from midrange and make plays above the rim are all things we see from him consistently.

Got off to an outstanding start at the beginning of the game, attacking the gaps of the defense for buckets at the rim. He’s an athletic guard that is dangerous when he doesn’t settle for the outside shot. Displayed a midrange game that has improved and finished well through traffic and contact.

It’s only a matter of time before a DI program likes what they see when it comes to McKoy; DI programs are already keying in on his cousin, Antonio; he’s equally as attractive given his ability to play above the rim and make plays for others as he has all grassroots season with No Guts No Glory NC

A prospect who put on a show in front of college coaches this past weekend with No Guts No Glory NC ; he’s an unselfish creator off the bounce who always looks to play unselfish basketball; can handle the ball and rise above the rim and make highlight plays himself or find others in space for easy buckets; a DI prospect due to grow this upcoming fall

Still a player that is flying under the radar for many programs. he brings energy and effort every time he steps on the floor and is a player that you don’t have to run plays for. On the defensive side of the ball, he understands how to use his wingspan and lateral quickness to make plays.

A walking highlight any time he steps on the court, he’s always a threat to do something that you can’t explain in most games. But in the first couple of tournaments in the opening weeks of AAU, he’s shown a comfort level both with the ball in his and with shooting off the catch that we didn’t see much of this HS season. After a big win over an EYBL squad this past weekend expect a surge in his recruitment soon. *Recently offered by Mount Olive

McKoy put on quite the show in taking home the MVP award in the 17U Slam Division at the Big Shots NC Tip-Off. He showcased his ability to block shots around the rim as well as create as an option on the offensive side of the floor. He led the way for No Guts No Glory NC with 18.0 points per game including 22 points in the championship victory over Flight 22 . He’ll be a leading name to know given his prowess on both ends of the floor with No Guts No Glory NC on the MadeHoops Circuit.
