<p>Saturday February 14 PH NorCal was in the Alhambra High Gym for the Diablo League Championship Game. Clayton Valley 12-0 25-3, beat Acalanes 8-2, 17-11 in an early season contest by a score of 58-13. Acalanes seemed to have put that game behind them. They came out ready to compete. At the end of the first 3 quarters the game was tide, it wasn't until the middle of the 4th qtr Clayton Valley would take control of the game, and come away with a 69-57 win. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2528335' first='Cameron' last='Hood']: He's a combo guard, been playing good basketball all season. Standing around 5'9 he handles the ball up top, setting and running the offense looking to involve others with good passing, he's a ball mover. He'll move off ball looking to put up shots using his quick dribble, and running off screens to free himself up for shots. He finished the game with 21pts, 5-3's.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1707496' first='Vince' last='Ellis']: He had 4pts at the half. The Unsigned Sr. went for 15pts more in the second half to finish with 17pts. He had good movement without the ball, finishing around the rim, freeing himself using backdoor cuts. He's an experienced prospect standing 6'5 who can deliver in different ways including in the crunch. He can put it on the floor, handle the bumps, he's good around the basket. </p>

He's averaging 11.9pts, 6.3rebs, leads the team in assists 3.8, and steals 2.7 according to (Stat). He's a long body, will get stronger over time. He sees the court, often finding cutters, and feeding the post. He can drive, or cut across the lane to get paint points. He stays in the mix on both ends. 4/6 Ft's in the 4th qtr.</p>

He's a fairly efficient shooter, takes and makes good shots. He'll show and go using his dribble getting to his spots from the perimeter, or driving it hard to the basket from different angles. He'll pull up after one dribble for mid-range and 3ptrs. He can handle a bit in open court, make the long pass up. He'll help rebound. </p>

He steadies the ship, knows, and runs the offense. He's a ball mover, makes good decisions with the ball, he finds his cutters, shooters, and feeds the post. He can get a bucket using his dribble, mid-range or paint points.</p>

He continues to build his overall skill set on both sides of the ball, consistency will be a key. He got off to a hot start 9pts in the 1st qtr, finished with 15pts. He has good form, will shoot the open 3-pointer. He's gaining body control and balance, while going strong to the basket, he'll finish drives around the rim. He's averaging 12.7 pts per game. He's a strong body plays hard on the defensive side of the ball.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2836275' first='Leo' last='Some']: He continues to improve his overall game, he has some limits but can effect the game starting or coming off the bench. He's naturally strong with a solid body, his court movement is improving. In one stretch he hauled in 5 rebounds, got 2 blocks scored 6pts. He's showing awareness, with improved defensive play in the paint. He's giving effort inside on both ends going after rebounds, and blocks. He's an improving passer.</p>

At 6'3 He did some handling, protects the ball with his body, ran the offense up top, sees the court, made long passes up, and cross the court to open shooters. He doesn't shy away from contact, has body control with strong drives to the basket finishing in traffic. He can hit open 3's, doesn't shy away from the big shot. 4-3's, 12pts.</p>
