An undersized wing who forms a dynamic duo with Pendergrass, Thomas has a strong frame which allows him to play on balance. Thomas hit a couple mid-range shots off one dribble pull-ups and a set corner 3-pointer. His biggest impact was as a rebounder and transition athlete, allowing Lansing Waverly to score before the Euclid defense could get set. Another impressive win for a team that's been consistent all season.     Jones caught fire in the first quarter with three 3-pointers and another to open the second quarter. An athletic wing, Jones defends well on the ball and should be able to play a role as a 3-and-D wing early in his college career. Despite leading Euclid in scoring, Jones left a couple buckets at the rim which could've allowed him to approach 25 points in this contest. A priority small college target, Jones is a clear stock riser for a Euclid squad that should expect to make a deep playoff run in Division II.     The heartbeat of the unbeaten Wyoming Cowboys, Wiley had a big game doing what he does best. Wiley is going to attack the rim aggressively and is tough to stop once he gets a step on his defender. Wiley also had a sweet dunk off a backdoor screen play that was wide open. Defensively is another area where Wiley thrives and will help him see the floor early at the college level with his future head coach in attendance on Sunday.     Evans and Wiley tied for a team lead with 23 points and Evans knocked down a handful of 3-pointers in the win. I thought Wyoming did an excellent job moving the basketball and not turning the ball over. Evans also had a couple strong finishes in the paint, going through rim protectors. Wyoming has been so consistent this season as their core four seniors step up almost every night.     Watson had the performance of his career to lift Maysville to a thrilling win over previously unbeaten Lutheran East in a battle of state title contenders that had a state title feel in a packed gym. Watson didn't miss any of his six 3-point attempts or 16 free throw attempts in what was an unbelievable offensive performance. Maysville did an excellent job moving the basketball and hitting their shooters on balance. Watson also had a handful of impressive spin moves that allowed him to score at the rim. Using his frame to shield himself away from defenders, Watson drew fouls consistently against reach in attempts. Another statement win for the Panthers who are looking for their third consecutive trip to the state title game behind their talented senior class.
