Jones knocked down a couple of spot-up 3-pointers and blocked a dunk attempt at the rim. The athletic wing is at his best in transition and when WV Gold can get a stop with a forced turnover or defensive rebound, they push the pace quickly. After a strong end to his senior season with Euclid, Jones has continued his impressive play and is outplaying his final 2026 ranking on our website.

Jones caught fire in the first quarter with three 3-pointers and another to open the second quarter. An athletic wing, Jones defends well on the ball and should be able to play a role as a 3-and-D wing early in his college career. Despite leading Euclid in scoring, Jones left a couple buckets at the rim which could’ve allowed him to approach 25 points in this contest. A priority small college target, Jones is a clear stock riser for a Euclid squad that should expect to make a deep playoff run in Division II. 

Another new name on Euclid, Jones gives the Panthers another hungry, high motor, athletic, and intense wing forward to throw in their lineup. Jones looked like he belonged on the court against some of the top teams from northeast Ohio early in the year and should be a nice addition if he continues to rebound, defend and play with energy. Euclid will look to turn teams over and run in transition and Jones fits that style well and could play that role for a small college program next season.

A transfer from Garfield Heights to Euclid, Jones has fit in perfectly with the Panthers as his athleticism, physicality and varsity experience all were on display on Saturday. Jones had a baseline slam dunk that helped cap off one of a few marquee wins Euclid had on Saturday. A wing who I expect to play a major role this winter, Jones is a name to know in northeast Ohio.
