Another one of Euclid’s players showing the team’s high-energy style in full effect, Jenkins thrives on both ends of the floor. At the wing, he uses his strength to finish through contact while also stepping out to knock down open threes. Crashing the boards with intensity, he creates extra possessions and keeps the defense on its heels. On both ends, his effort and skill consistently lift Euclid’s pace and intensity. He finished with 16 points and 7 Rebounds.

Jenkins showcased his ability to slash throughout the game. He wills his way to different spots on the floor. He plays with a lot of confidence and has an aggressive motor. Jenkins was able to frequently convert out scoring chances often. He added 11 points in the loss. He showed glimpses from behind the arc as a shooter. Jenkins moves the ball and is an unselfish player. His length causes problems on the defensive end by getting steals and rebounds.

I was impressed with Jenkins defensively and as a passer against Huntington Prep. Jenkins has a long wingspan and is active on the ball defensively. Add in his high feel for the game that led to a couple hockey assists and efficient scoring at 3/6 from the floor and Jenkins had a strong performance for a Sophomore on a big stage.

Jenkins is a Tasmanian devil like guard who has a knack for using his big strides to get wherever he wants on the floor with the ball in his hands. He was able to space the floor. He got the foul line often and converted on chances from there. He did most of his scoring in the first half and finished with 10 points . He has good size for the off-guard spot and uses his length and burst in his game frequently.
