Tomlin transferred to John Marshall from Paul VI in the offseason, and after a huge summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2226307' first='Team' last='Loaded VA'] he's emerged as a national prospect that coaches are watching very closely. He's having a huge season so far at JM, putting up ridiculous numbers as he has the green light and he's been using his athleticism and shot making ability to dominate opponents. He projects as a “3-and-d” prospect at the highest level as he's a big time athlete who can play above the rim with authority and effortlessly, he can knock down open shots at a high clip from deep, he can attack off the wing and get downhill, and he can use his athleticism to stay in front and come help side to block shots too.

4) [player_tooltip player_id='2454553' first='Ja'Ron' last='Rucker'] | 6'6” SF | Bishop O'Connell (#9 Overall)

Rucker transferred to O'Connell from Riverdale Baptist in Maryland, and since he's joined the team he's been nothing short of fantastic for them and is putting college coaches on notice with his play. He has all the translatable tools with great positional size, explosive athleticism, a high motor on both ends, and he has a budding skillset that will only get better moving forward. He can hit open shots off the catch from deep, he thrives in transition with his ability to finish above the rim both off the bounce and as a lob threat, he rebounds well for his position, and he is a versatile defender who can make plays on that end of the floor too.

3) [player_tooltip player_id='2194710' first='Brian' last='Mitchell Jr.'] | 6'4” SG | Paul VI (#4 Overall)

Mitchell has been one of the biggest national risers in the state, as he transferred to Paul VI from Varina in Richmond, and has put up very impressive numbers on the national stage against their very tough schedule. The 6'4” guard really improved his body and conditioning over the summer, and that's made him even more of an elite scorer as he's gotten quicker and more explosive to be able to create shots off the bounce. He's an elite level shot maker who can get to spots and use his footwork and body control to hit tough shots in the midrange, he has deep range and is a consistent shooter with great form from beyond the arc, and he is a strong and athletic finisher when he gets downhill and is very good at finishing through contact.

2) [player_tooltip player_id='2458579' first='Jacoby' last='Briscoe'] | 6'6” SF | Saint James (#3 Overall)

Briscoe transferred to Saint James after spending the last couple of years at Riverdale Baptist, and he's become a nationally ranked prospect who already holds a number of high major offers. The 6'6” jump wing has great physical and athletic tools, as he has a frame that should fill out with long arms and is a big time athlete who can play above the rim and he uses his athleticism to challenge shots and jump passing lanes defensively. His versatility is really what stands out as he can play on the ball and has a good enough handle to create for himself and others off the bounce, he moves well off the ball using cuts to get downhill and he can come off screens and set his feet to knock down shots, and he's able to play and guard multiple positions with his size and athleticism.

1) [player_tooltip player_id='2307198' first='Janon' last='Singh'] | 6'7” SF | Oak HIll Academy (#2 Overall)

Singh transferred to Oak Hill from Georgia in the offseason, and he's really made his name known on the EYSL Circuit as a high upside wing who can impact the game across the board and on both ends of the floor. Standing 6'7” with a frame that should fill out he has great positional size, is an explosive athlete when he gets downhill and in transition, and he has a really good skillset that is only going to get better as he continues to work and polish his game. He works well off the ball to get open on cuts and can set his feet to make shots on the move, he's great in catch-and-shoot on kick-outs, he's a good rebounder who can push the tempo and get to the rim where he can use his athleticism, he can create in isolation and in ball screens, and he's got tons of defensive upside moving forward too.
