-Edwards continued a hot streak with 9 straight games scoring 19+ as his team fights through some injury issues in the dog days of the season. Edwards started things off with a paint pullup short jumper, caught a SLOB release and immediately got downhill to score with the left before the defense could recover, lifted to top of key for a pair of C+S 3's off movement in the 1H, hit a pull up 2 in transition to start off the 2H scoring, executed a well-timed crosscourt skip to a corner shooter from the paintpaint, set a backpick then came off the screen to hit another 3 to put his team up 5 just under 2 mins 4Q, and snagged a defensive board to then race it 94 feet to draw a foul and hit two FTs. His command over the pace of the game was an impressive development to see live, as he vacillated well between creating his own shot and moving the ball to facilitate the GP offense.

-Razi's play at both ends of the court got his team off to a lightning-quick start for a home game that they lead for most of the contest. Razi started things off when he turned on the jets to separate from the pack to score a run out layup in transition, hit his matchup with a jab to get the step on a drive from the wing to the rim before he finished with an inside hand layup, knocked down a pull-up paint two in transition, picked up his dribble but still knocked down a mid-post fader on a taller defender, threw a smooth hook pass to the shake shooter, came off a baseline double screen to knock down the corner 3 off the BLOB set, and hit a late three off the bounce to bring the game back within 6.

-Absolutely loved the way that Desire impacted the game off the bench for the Little Hoyas as a ball-hawking POA defender. Desire absolutely hounded St. Albans, performing well in his 2nd quarter minutes to come up with 3 steals to give his team an offensive spark in transition. Desire scored off the blow-by that started behind the 3 point line on the wing to hit a lefty lay at the rim, knocked down a pull up 2 in transition, threw a great 1-handed jump pass over the top to a rolling big, and came up with a big defensive rebound and made FTs to put the win away for his team.

-Came away impressed with the physical tools and varied skillset from the sophomore wing in a nice road win. Pierre-Louis started things off with an aggressive drive down the middle of the paint to hit the floater off 2 feet, had a well-timed face cut to catch the pocket pass and score at the rim, hit a C+S 3 from the wing to help build a 2-basket Georgetown Prep lead, and knocked down two huge FTs late to seal the win for his team. His blend of size, lateral movement skills, ability to guard multiple positions and ball skills make him a candidate to make a nice leap in our next set of updated rankings for the 2028 class.

-The Maryland football commit impacted the game early and often in this one to give his team a nice boost. Cobb started things off with a C+S 3 from the corner with picture-perfect form, threw a perfect outlet assist over the top to give his teammate an easy transition 2 , faced up from the wing to hit a contested 3 from the wing, and flew around defensively for the Bulldogs as a versatile 2-5 defender. Cobb uses the frame and physicality that allows him to shine on the football field to muck things up in the paint as a strong rebounder that can also contest shots around the basket.

-The lightning quick senior guard was an absolute jack rabbit in transition, sprinting ahead to make good decisions in the open court while protecting his own basket by swiping away steals or drawing a charge at the defensive end of the floor. Allen has great burst in the open floor, coming hard off of ball screens to break into the second level of the defense to make plays for his team. Allen missed a 3 but drew a charge in transition, knocked down a tough OTB 3 just before 3Q buzzer, scored a putback to cut it to 7 with just under 30 seconds left in the game, and scored off a well-timed back door cut layup to make it a 5 point game with just under 30 seconds remaining in the contest. His speed and scoring ability will be huge to flipping the tide in games for St. Albans as they look to finish strong in IAC play.

-This was my first time seeing Godette this season and he did not disappoint with his play at either end of the court. Godette got things going with a drive and floater off glass, banked in an elbow pull-up, face cut for a layup just before the 1H buzzer, scored another buzzer-beating bucket at the end of the 3Q, and attacked a long closeout with a baseline drive to draw 2 and drop off to big for the easy bucket. Loved the quick, assertive drives from the wing throughout the day as Godette got to his spots in the halfcourt.

-While he didn't have a huge scoring day, Davis' rebounding and defensive versatility really stood out through a nice road win for Georgetown Prep. Davis has a great frame, was active in help rotations defensively, had a nice readjustment to score off the pivot in the paint, and was physical against taller forward prospects throughout the night to push them off their spot around the rim. Loved the motor that he showed throughout the game as he played several different positions for his team in a well-rounded, unselfish team effort from the junior wing.
