Mitchell continues to fly under the radar despite putting up some eye-popping performances this season. Despite his Wooten team struggling in the win column, the 5-foot-9 lead guard has been an electric offense presence on the ball averaging 22 points per game. He's forced to be more of a score-first guard due to the makeup of his team, but he does it with relative efficiency from all three levels. His quick twitch allow forces his defenders to play honest, but his quick load-up off the dribble with extended range makes for a nightmare to guard especially when a mismatch presents itself. He moves well laterally defending the ball himself with aggressive and accurate hands that oftentimes result in poking the ball loose for potential runouts. He's a guy who sets the tone on the ball demanding gravity as he crosses halfcourt, which gives him plenty of space to allow his burst to shine as he can get to the rim in the blink of an eye to finish layups before weakside rotations. A handful of DIII programs are in pursuit of Mitchell's services.

Walker is a transfer from St. John's Catholic Prep who has quickly asserted himself as one of the better guards in MoCo. He's a downhill slasher who boasts a strong frame and uses it to embrace physicality on his way to the rim. He's thrived in high ball screens or in transition where he can use his change-of-pace approach to hunt gaps and expose driving lanes with good burst off his back foot. He's shown consistent touch on floaters from the middle of the paint and has progressed with his outside shooting results as defenses have changed their game plan against him to pack the paint. Walker is averaging 13.4 points and 3.7 assists per game.

Hassan remains one of the more intriguing prospects in the Maryland Public School sector as a whole thanks to his combination of size and skill. He's 6-foot-5 with legitimate guard skills and while Churchill has an establish primary ballhandler already, Hassan can take over the reigns when he's in his flow state and shine bright as he exposes mismatches. He can get it going off the catch from three and is the type of the player that when his confidence is high, he's liable to put up 25-30 points on a given night. In spurts, he'll make highlights off isolations with a decent bag of counters off the dribble and a long stride that helps him gain an edge. His length makes him a consistent presence on the glass and his fiery edge, while sometimes can get the better of him, can be a positive impact on his teammates and force them to match his energy.

Zedak is the type of off-ball scorer who's going to keep his foot on the gas no matter the score or situation. If there's an opportunity where he can put the ball in the bucket or feels that he has an advantageous matchup, the 6-foot-3 guard won't hesitate going to work. A confident shooter from deep, Zedak plays well out of closeouts understanding the demand he gets from his defender and can play off 1-2 dribbles with good balance before rising up from the mid-range or using push floaters in the middle of the paint. He keeps things simple and attacks in a straight-line fashion. He can bring physicality around the rim, but also knows how to use the aggression of his defender to his advantage in baiting for fouls. As usual, head coach Chris Lun has Whitman humming with a 12-1 record and Zedak leads the group in scoring at 16.5 points per outing.

Williams has put together a phenomenal freshman campaign that we'll be monitoring closely as the season rounds third base. The son of former NBA veteran Jerome Williams, Jeremiah has the intriguing frame and length that catch your eye right away. In middle school he played on the ball plenty, so the guard skills have translated seamlessly as he's stretched out to 6-foot-6 with the high likelihood of growing even more over the next 4-5 years. Williams attacks with tight footwork no matter if he's operating in 1-on-1's out on the perimeter or on the block. His blend of patience, vision and feel as both a scorer or distributor make for a massive weapon in this setting. He's averaging over 14 points a game and none of it feels forced. As he continues to grow into his frame and the athletic pop improves, Williams will be a dynamite prospect in an already loaded local 2029 crop.

Williams is a common name on our site whenever we see Whitman in action thanks to his versatile skillset at the guard position. He stuffs the stat sheet and can adjust to whatever the given game is calling for whether that's to be more of an aggressive scorer, a paint-toucher to collapse the defense and create for others or be more of a lockdown defender who brings an effective blend of strength, quickness and anticipation.

Byrd is a rock solid guard who can slide to the wing in MoCo play as he has good understanding of leverage guarding bigs when his team needs. He's an excellent communicator, which further allows for him to present as B-CC's true senior leader and while he's more than willing to play within the system offensively, he'll break things off for himself when he knows he has the upper hand. He plays with a strong base that makes it tough for defenders to knock him off balance during drives or quick pull-ups, uses compact mechanics on catch-and-shoots and has the bruiser mentality when scoring around the cup. His game is one that you can see thriving at the DIII level shortly after arriving on campus.
