[player_tooltip player_id='1765539' first='Max' last='Roach'] played with a competitive fire throughout this game and impacted Waukee's win in a multitude of ways. For starters, he was impossible to stay in front of. Max showcased his deep bag of dribble combos that he used to consistently shake defenders and blow by them. Max is an insanely smooth operator of the offense, and he rarely gets sped up. He displayed great speed and burst as a driver, and he got to the rim at will in this game. At the rim, he hit many contested layups through contact. His touch is elite, and he can finish around defenders through tough angles. He was able to get defenders on his hip constantly, which allowed him to get to his floater in the lane, which he hit at a high clip and had no issue making these shots at high speeds and while off balance. He was also great at using his body to create space. There was a moment in this game where he shook his defender off the dribble, got them off balance, and then used his shoulder to bump them, which sent them to the floor and allowed him to pull up for a midrange bucket. He displayed an ability to hit deep threes off of dribble handoffs as well. His three-level shot creation ability allowed him to create many advantages for his team, and he displayed high-level court vision, kicking out to open shooters and creating many open looks for the offense. He did all of this while being a very feisty and engaged defender, picking up full court and ripping opposing ball handlers for steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2204081' first='Charlie' last='King'] showed his elite versatility throguhout this game. Charlie is absoutlelty elite at using his body to create open shots. His contact balance and decelration are both extreamly impressive. He was great in this game at attacking defenders downhill and then slamming on the breaks and using his shoulders to manufacture space. He routentily made defenders look like they were on skates becuase of this skill. And it allowed him to get to many open midrange pull ups, which he hit at a high clip. His mid range shot creation very much stood out. He operates very calmly when comes to creating these shots and he is elite at getting to his spots and rising up over defenders for tough mid range buckets. His ability to get to his spots and be such a threat to score from them, allowed him to draw many fouls in this game. His patience and use of fakes collected him many free throws, both at the rim and the interemiadte areas. He was a sniper from outside as well. His three point stroke is very fast and efficent. He can get his shot off with a hand in his face and while fading away. He hits these shots from deep range and he is a constant threat to burn you off the catch. Another thing that stood out about Charlie in this game was his high feel and cutting ability. He is always moving and is great at cutting at the right moments, catching his defender lacking and prodcuing wide open shots for himself at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2594655' first='Pete' last='Craig'] was dominant around the rim in this game. His footwork and touch in the post made him almost unguardable throughout this game. Pete scores through contact with the best of them. He is elite at using his body to shield off defenders and bump them out of his way. This created many great looks for himself around the rim. He finished many and-1 buckets in this game due to his overwhelming ability as a post scorer. He also showcased an elite ability as a driver in this game, where he was elite at blowing by defenders and finishing at high speeds and through contact for and-1 finishes. He was very active on the offensive glass in this game, getting multiple putback buckets. Pete was great from behind the arc as well. He hit multiple catch-and-shoot threes and spaced the floor for his team. He did all of this while being a pest of a defender who blocked shots and got steals throughout this contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2519967' first='Finley' last='Newman'] was a lethal sniper in this game. Finley's shot mechanics are about as good as you can get. His release is unbelievably fast, and his touch is pristine from outside. He was ridiculously efficient from beyond the arc, and he was being face guarded throughout this game due to his threat as a shooter. This face guarding did not work, however, because Finley barely needs any space to make you pay from downtown. He hit many threes in this game and hit them at an efficient clip. If given any space, he will light you up off the catch. Due to his elite jump shooting, defenders routinely left their feet to contest his shot, and he was great at sidestepping those defenders and hitting threes on the move and while off balance. Contests in general didn't seem to bother him much at all.

[player_tooltip player_id='2823296' first='Landon' last='Hanson'] displayed his elite size and versatility throughout this game. Landon has a great long and strong frame that he used to lock down opponents. His fluidity, length, and athleticism made him a difficult matchup for opposing scorers. He also used his athletic tools to impact the glass greatly in this game. He brought down many rebounds, both offensive and defensive, and he was constantly active and hustling for loose balls. Along with his defensive and rebounding impact, he was great at stretching the floor for Waukee's offense. He hit multiple catch-and-shoot threes in this game, and he displayed a very nice and fluid release.
