The first game I caught of the day was a grind it out style contest where Huston's perimeter shot making ability stood out. Finishing tied for a game-high of 17 points, Huston can catch fire from the outside and I like how he plays on balance when attempting jumpers and floaters off drives. With a strong base, Huston isn't pushed off his spot and his ability to space the floor next to Arafan Diane is a major reason why Iowa United Prep is successful.

I was a big fan of the amount of athletes and length IMG Academy could throw on the court as Foster made an impact from the opening tip in a blowout win over Sunrise Christian Academy. On the first possession of the game Foster drove baseline and had a nice live dribble pass for an assist. I also liked how Foster kept the ball high on finishes in the paint and used his long strides in transition. Knocking down a couple of 3-pointers as well, Foster had an impressive scoring game.

One of my favorite bigs in the 2026 class, Meyer seems to get better every time I watch him play. I was really impressed by his hands and ability to pass out of the post on Saturday. I also was impressed by Meyer's positioning as a helpside defender and rim protector, clogging lanes for Sunrise Christian to attack, holding them under 30 points until late in the fourth quarter. Despite being skinny, Meyer also made some toughness plays and should be able to secure even more rebounds at the college level when he puts some weight and strength on to his frame. Very obvious why Duke prioritized Meyer in the 2026 class.

One of the younger guards in the 2027 class nationally, Cleveland is starting to turn the corner production wise in the Nike scholastic league. I love Cleveland's ability to finish with his left hand, making quick drives and finishes with that hand in traffic. Also able to finish through contact, Cleveland had multiple and-1 finishes on Saturday. Finishing with a game-high 18 points on 50% shooting from the floor and 3-point range, Cleveland was efficient in the Lakers comfortable league victory.

One of my favorite prospects in the 2027 class nationally, Wright was first nationally ranked by Prep Hoops following the [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] 16 U championship run. Wright is one of the top rebounders and shot blockers in the Nike Scholastic league, playing so tough in the paint despite standing at just 6'7. Wright also hit a pair of 3-pointers, including one just before the third quarter buzzer. Checking so many boxes to help you win, Louisville prioritized the local prospect and secured a commitment before any other high major programs offered Wright.
