[player_tooltip player_id='2402042' first='Akan' last='Berisso'] put together a strong performance Tuesday night against Wayzata. He excelled in the point guard role, playing under control and consistently getting his team into their offensive sets. Akan has a knack for making the right basketball play, whether it was swinging the ball around the perimeter to find open shooters or attacking open lanes for finishes at the rim and mid-range pull-ups off the dribble.

junior used his size and strength to establish deep post position, creating an easy target for his guards to throw lob entry passes over the defense, resulting in either easy layups or trips to the free-throw line after drawing fouls. Nick also showed good footwork and vision in the post, finding open cutting teammates for easy buckets. Watch out for Nick as he continues to show promise at the varsity level.

Iye is a 2028 prospect to keep an eye on. The 6'7" forward has great length and a high motor, allowing him to track down both defensive and offensive rebounds, which often turn into easy putbacks. He also runs the floor extremely well for a big man and shows a soft touch around the rim, converting layups and floaters at a high rate.

Keishaun left his mark on the game in Thursday night's matchup against Osseo. He is an extremely quick guard, using his speed to get to the rim on drives and put pressure on the defense in transition. His quickness demands defensive attention, opening up catch-and-shoot three-point opportunities, which he converted efficiently on Thursday night. On the defensive end, Keishaun is a pest who applies strong ball pressure and consistently disrupts the opposing offense.

Ben impressed again with a strong offensive performance against Wayzata. He has a smooth jumper and consistently knocks down the three-point shot. Even more impressive was his effectiveness putting the ball on the floor, as he finished at the rim effortlessly multiple times on Tuesday night. Ben has showed me multiple times that he has a complete offensive game; I expect that to translate on the varsity level for the sophomore.
