Since Howell's freshman season, he's been putting up video game numbers for Broken Bow. This past week's tournament saw him go for 41 on Wednesday, then 42 on Thursday. The 42 point game was almost casual. Yes, he's fast with top tier all around athleticism. But he rarely looked out of control. His loudest moment came early in the third when he went for back to back threes. Then exploded to the rim, took a bump from a 6'7 defender like it was nothing and smoothly finished at the rim. His scoring spurt forced a timeout and extended the Broken Bow lead to a point where they would never look back.

Considering the offers and production on the gridiron, Howell's basketball time will likely end at the prep level. He's already made his mark, earlier this season he cleared 1500 points for his caree. And seems well on his way to challenging 2500 career points. A State Tournament appearance has alluded him so far, and the 4A playoffs tend to be a gauntlet. But Howell could be a one man wrecking crew for the 15th ranked squad from southeastern Oklahoma.

Flemons is the anchor of a Redhawks attack that flows through him. His power and touch around the rim allowed him to dominate the paint vs Southmoore. Putbacks, post ups and more "strong like bull" scoring at the basket. But what really impressed and put Union over the top in their win this past Thursday was his passing. Established a high low connection with fellow forward King. Then when he drew doubles on post ups, his ability to kick it out helped fuel an outstanding team three point shooting performance.

The Drake signee is a great blend of old school power with modern passing and skill for a forward. He'll be a strong change of pace post at the next level and currently is an All State talent. More than capable of leading Union to another 6A State Tournament appearance.

Brammer was quiet for three quarters, then closed the door of a low scoring slug fest. For four years his signature shot has been the mid-range jumper. Even with it surely being at the top of his scouting report, he was able to knock down a pair of them in the fourth to extend the Newcastle lead. Then his strong frame allowed him to score a tough finish at the rim to cap his game changing scoring. The Racers have a variety of ways to score the ball, but Brammer could prove to be their closer as they gear up for a 5A State Title punch.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352732' first='TJ' last='Williams']' senior season has been a culmination of all the little moments of potential he's flashed over the last few years. The Thursday win was more of that, as he continues to make highlight reel quality plays with above the rim blocks and finishes. He was especially strong to close out the second quarter. Even mixing in his now more reliable shooting touch. Thanks to his fantastic motor, Williams' production has finally caught up to his potential. But long term, the potential is still off the charts. As he has the natural traits to have one of the more successful college careers of any 2026 in Oklahoma.

Brewer was known as a sharpshooter as a junior, and he's still a quality shotmaker from deep. But was also impressive with the steel and improvements he showed on the defensive end. Gets up and guards strongly, harassing on the ball. Good combo of moving his feet, leveraging a frame that should put on good weight and strength in college, and quick hands. After he frustrates opposing ball handlers, he can even pick pockets without fouling. His battling mentality in a potential 5A playoff preview type game is a good sign for his long term potential to quickly carve out a role at the next level.

Newcomer to Casady by the way of New Jersey. Big frame forward, who can put it on the floor and even drain threes. When given a lane he rose up for a dunk, and can punish mismatches on the block. Has some very interesting stretch forward and face up attacking aspects to his game. Signs of good vision, even passing on those drives. But he tended to consistently leave his feet to make those passes. A habit he'll need to curtail at the next level, as opposing college coaches and players will likely have that tendency scouted out.
