<p>Week 9 of the Indiana high school basketball is officially underway and we had a big slate of high school hoops going on last night in Indiana. Let us dive on in and take a look at a few highlights of Friday's night of hoops.</p>

<p>The most historic thing that took place on Friday in the Indiana High School Boys basketball scene took place down in southern Indiana. Senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1560962' first='Blake' last='Neill'] made Bloomfield history becoming the first player to ever score over 2,000 career point in the school's history. This record happened off a double-double of 29 points and 24 rebounds in Bloomfield's 63-48 win over Eastern Greene. Neill is one of the top uncommitted seniors in the in-state 2026 class. </p>

<p><strong>Pike gets huge road win over Carmel</strong></p>

<p>There were multiple big games that took place on Friday and perhaps the biggest was the matchup between the Pike Red Devils and Carmel Greyhounds. In a showdown between two teams that could make a deep state tournament run in Class 4A, the matchup lived up to the hype with Pike getting the 61-55 win in overtime on the road vs Carmel. For Pike, it was sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2538892' first='Landon' last='Lampley'] that led the Red Devils with 20 points. Carmel was led by [player_tooltip player_id='1560952' first='Evan' last='Harrell'] with a game-high 22 points. </p>

<p><strong>Silver Creek dominates New Albany</strong></p>

<p>The biggest game down in the southern Indiana portion of the state was the rivalry matchup between Silver Creek and New Albany. In the end, it was the Silver Creek Dragons getting a very dominant win over New Albany with the final score being 87-70. For Silver Creek, it was junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2140328' first='Brandon' last='Hunter'] that led with 28 points, [player_tooltip player_id='1385611' first='Kasen' last='Daeger'] with 20 points, and [player_tooltip player_id='2476482' first='Dane' last='Caldwell'] with 17 points. New Albany was led by [player_tooltip player_id='2382148' first='Noah' last='Washington'] with 26 points. </p>
