<p>The quarterfinals of the Indianapolis City Tournament took place on Thursday night. Below are the results plus a few play performances. </p>

<p><strong>Shortridge gets win over Greenfield-Central</strong></p>

<p>A sneaky good game that took place last night in the central Indiana area was the game between Indianapolis Shortridge and Greenfield-Central. A competitive game, it was Shortridge who held down the home floor and defeated Greenfield-Central by 11 points in a 67-56 win to ear their 7th win on the year. Shortridge senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2812792' first='Elijah' last='Wilson'] led with 23 points [player_tooltip player_id='1561010' first='Clay' last='Mullins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1560991' first='Cole' last='Mullins'] combined for 33 for Greenfield-Central. Both of these team have 7 wins on the year. </p>

<p><strong>Charlestown beats Corydon Central is a great game</strong></p>

<p>Last night, the best game in the southern Indiana area of the state was the showdown between Charlestown and Corydon Central. The potential Sectional 30 Preview matchup ore than lived up to the hype with the Charlestown Pirates going on the road to defeat Corydon Central 67-64 to earn their 9th win of the season. 2026 Charlestown wing [player_tooltip player_id='2815063' first='Keevin' last='Bowman'] led Charlestown in scoring with 18 points with Miami (OH) signee [player_tooltip player_id='1922051' first='Anthony' last='Fresh'] adding 17 points and AJ Todd putting up 15 points. Corydon Central was led by Jackson Fessel with a game-high 27 points and [player_tooltip player_id='2140365' first='Grant' last='Lindemann'] with 10 points. You could possibly see these two face off come Sectional time. </p>
