Taking a look at prospects from the Norwalk vs. Cedar Rapids Washington and North Scott vs. Linn-Mar games from last Saturday, and evaluating five prospects from those games.

An undersized guard that is determined to find a way to put the ball in the hoop, [player_tooltip player_id='2398477' first='Traeshon' last='Fields'] is the unlikely leading scorer for Cedar Rapids Washington. Still standing at just 5-foot-10 in his sophomore campaign, Fields is willing and able to launch from almost anywhere, 25 feet and in. Using his whole body to fire from deep, Fields will need to continue to add weight to be a more efficient shooter and in order to not get bullied in the paint, but if he maintains his skills as they are and gets in the weight room -- and maybe hits a growth spurt -- he has a ton of potential.

He finished Washington's matchup with Norwalk with 12 points, five rebounds and four assists.

The secondary scorer to high-major recruit and Iowa State commit, [player_tooltip player_id='2309944' first='Josiah' last='Harrington'], [player_tooltip player_id='2419854' first='Drew' last='Fischer'] is a confident, capable playmaker off-the-dribble that can attack defenses and get to the basket. Taking some of the pressure off of Harrington, Fischer is willing to put the ball on the floor, but he can also shoot the three.

We'll talk more extensively about Harrington momentarily, but Fischer was a name I didn't know prior to Saturday, and he's a reason that North Scott could have a chance to make a run in the postseason. If his play continues on an upward trajectory and he can score with more regularity, the Lancers could be dangerous come playoff time.

One can't watch North Scott and come away without any notes on Harrington. The No. 1 player in Iowa's class of 2027, Harrington is an elite athlete with bounce to throw down dunks with ease, soft hands to catch passes on back-door cuts, range to step out and shoot the three, strength to fight for rebounds and is mature on the basketball court.

Scoring 42 points against Linn-Mar, Harrington is easily one of the best scorers in the state, and the Cyclones are lucky to have gotten an early commitment from him. Long, athletic, bouncy, smart and way ahead of the curve in his class, Harrington was on pace to receive national interest in his recruitment before shutting it down and choosing TJ Otzelberger and Iowa State.

A name that doesn't pop up in the conversations with the likes of Harrington and other high-level scorers in the class of 2027, [player_tooltip player_id='2419755' first='Tillman' last='Papcun'] may start to make some folks rethink that.

Finishing with 31 points against Washington on Saturday, Papcun launched a heat-check three on several possessions late, in what was a close game. He stayed hot. Making 10-of-14 shots from the field and 5-of-8 from three, Papcun looked like one of the better shooters in 4A when matching up with the Warriors. He'll be a name to keep tabs on throughout the rest of the season and into his final year on the AAU circuit.

I might need to stop watching Linn-Mar, because I'm only becoming more and more of a fan of [player_tooltip player_id='2114707' first='Karson' last='Rains']. An absolute sniper from three, Rains is as confident as they come from beyond the three-point line, and if I had to pick anyone in the state to knockdown an open triple, he might be my choice.

A combo guard that can initiate the offense and hit a three-pointer with his eyes closed, Rains is one of my favorite prospects in the state. If he gets hots from deep, there's no telling how many triples he could make in a game.

An excellent compliment to Lions' leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id='2204894' first='Tyler' last='Hilton'], Rains and the 6-foot-8 forward combined for 35 points against North Scott, fending off the Lancers and Harrington for the win.
