Sean set the tone early with his two-way athleticism and constant rim pressure. He jumped a passing lane and finished a dunk on the other end to start the game, then later caused another turnover that turned into an alley-oop finish. Offensively he was a problem attacking closeouts, finishing drives off with athletic dunks. He also stretched the floor by drilling a deep wing three, showing he can stretch the floor when needed. Sean competed hard on the glass and consistently hustled for rebounds as well. In the half court he mixed in midrange touch with short jumpers and spot-up looks. Defensively he stood out as a backside helper in the zone, rotating on time and protecting the rim. Late in the game he capped his performance with another transition dunk to push the lead and leave his impact on the floor.

Jamie was a tough shot-maker this game and played fast in transition and kep the defense active. He made an early steal and scored, setting an aggressive tone. He also hit a deep three from the top of the arc, stretching the floor as he consistently does for South River. Jamie attacked off the bounce and finished through traffic with a strong dribble drive that ended in an and-one through two defenders. He lived at the free throw line throughout the game because of how aggressive he was at getting into the paint. What stood out most was how Finn would leverage his shooting to open up his driving lanes. Punished lazy closeouts and consistently drew defensive attention all game long.

Keon let everyone know why he's so highly regarded in the 2027 class after this recent performance against South River. He was a tone-setter defensively and attacked aggressively in the open floor. Made a strong on-ball stop, then turned a steal into an and-one finish on the break. Next possession he chased down a block, showing great effort and timing. After missing a couple shots early, Keon settled in with a smooth floater which was nice to see from such a potent scorer. Scott was at his best when he played decisive and attacked quickly, especially in transition where he finished through pressure multiple times. He also made the right play as a passer, dishing off after rotations on a pick-and-roll to an open shooter. Consistently hit spot-up threes to keep the defense honest. Defensively he covered ground and even hustled out for a huge block at the three-point line. Dominant game from Keon in a big Mustang W, a common theme this season.

Gabe impacted the game as a true playmaker, using his paint touches to create clean offense against the zone. He consistently drove inside and kicked out to shooters, then followed it up with a backcourt steal that led to a reverse layup. His passing really popped, including a perfect corner feed that broke the zone defense for an easy basket. He also threw a full-court dime to a cutter for another layup, showing high-level court vision. Gabe made plays defensively too as well, coming up with a strong block on a drive to the rim and multiple steals/deflections. As a scorer he was smooth getting into the lane and finishing strong at the basket. Late in the game he became more aggressive attacking the paint and started adding in the points to match. Overall, Gabe changed the game on both ends with his high IQ and playmaking ability.

Aden consistently got to the rim with strength and control. Played well as a downhill creator who keeps his head up on the run. He used his body well on drives and drew fouls multiple times attacking from the perimeter. As a passer, he made multiple quick reads, including outlet passes and assisted cuts that turned into easy layups. Aden truly showcased his physicality and athleticism at the rim. Defensively he competed too, closing out and blocking a three-point attempt. Brown's mix of rim pressure and playmaking stood out all game and he has a real chance to be special out in DC.

This young freshman wing impacted the game with his effort, instincts, and winning plays that don't always show up in the box score. He was at his best when he kept it simple and didn't overthink with the ball. Blake made key intangible plays that helped keep Dunbar within reach. While he hit the occasional shot, his value came on the defensive end and on the glass. Blake rebounded strong for his size and played with consistent energy. He was a magnet around loose balls and found ways to disrupt plays through hustle. Robinson played inspiring and promising basketball and showed the potential to grow into a real threat for Dunbar over the years
