The event is highlighted by two games featuring nationally-ranked SPIRE Institute which will include the homecoming of scintillating lead guard Darrell Davis. A Baltimore native and Boys' Latin (MD) transfer, Davis has slid right into the starting PG spot for SPIRE, shining with his tenacious two-way approach and boundless creativity with the ball in his hands. Davis is as quick as they come getting north-south to generate paint touches before getting into his crafty layup bag or finding windows to create shots for his teammates with slick passes. He's a dogged on-ball defender with cat-quick hands and feet to force turnovers and ignite transition going back the other way. It's easy to see why Davis tracks as a future high-major floor general, with upside left to tap into as he comes into his own physically.

Teaming with Davis to form as dynamic a junior backcourt as you'll find in the country, Gibson has been playing at a high level so far this winter. Considered among the top guard prospects in his class, the North Carolina native followed head coach Kevin Boyle from Montverde (FL) and has fit in seamlessly in his new surroundings, bringing explosive slashing ability along with tenacious defensive pressure and budding on-ball talent as a playmaker for others. Gibson has steadily been taking on more of an Alpha role as the season progresses, which will be interesting to track moving forward. He's being pursued by many of the top programs in the country, with a reclass up to 2026 potentially being in play.

The top junior post prospect in the state, Mancho is always a delight to watch thanks to the boundless two-way energy that he brings to the floor. Mancho knows his role and sticks to it, acting as a consistent enforcer in the paint on both ends with his blend of physicality, athleticism, and an unmatched motor. He anchors the defense as an imposing rim protector who's quick enough to step out on switches, while acting as a release valve for his guards offensively with emphatic slams and flashes of budding skill. While the native of Cameroon is just a tad undersized for his projected role at the highest levels, his intangibles help to make up for it in a big way.

One of the higher-upside prospects across the DMV, Malonga has started coming into his own this winter with an increased workload in his new home at West Nottingham. A transfer from Mt. Zion Prep (MD) and native of France, Malonga oozes potential with an enticing blend of size, athleticism, and skill on the perimeter. He has the ball skills to create for himself and teammates along with the fluidity and explosiveness to wreak havoc filling lanes in transition. His shot has also continued coming around to help make him a more viable off-ball threat in the halfcourt. With high-level bloodlines and still relatively little in-game experience stateside, Malonga has the makings of a prospect with significant room left for growth, even as he already starts turning potential into production with increasing consistency.

A native of Ohio, Ivery has emerged in his first year at Phelps as a consistent tertiary scorer and playmaker alongside star seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2949318' first='Xavier' last='Blake'] (Hofstra) and [player_tooltip player_id='1486760' first='Jahrel' last='Vigo'] plus a talented cadre of underclassmen. The lefty wing guard excels at filling in gaps on both ends of the floor, operating across the positional spectrum with high-level feel for the game and easily projectable physical tools. He's proven to be a dynamic slasher both in the halfcourt and transition, with a jump shot that's more consistent than expected given his unorthodox mechanics. With on-ball potential left to tap into moving forward, Ivery could emerge as a high-major prospect with steady development over the next year.
