On Sunday, the Andrew James Lawson Foundation Invitational will be played at the TD Garden. On the boys side, 3 prep school and 2 MIAA games will be played. I'll be covering players from both leagues in some preview articles and will also be there on Sunday to cover the event.

I've already covered the headliner event of Sunday's Andrew James Lawson Foundation Invitational at TD Garden: Newman School vs. Cushing Academy.

But there are also two other high level prep school matchups occurring on Sunday—Kingswood Oxford School vs. King School and Milton Academy vs. Belmont Hill School.

Below, I'll be highlighting 6 players to watch out for from those games.

Williams is probably the best player in this group of teams. The 6-foot-2 guard has incredible speed and quickness and is a total blur in transition with the ball in his hands. He can shoot it from the outside, he can finish athletically at the rim with both hands, and he operates with great control and decisiveness in the paint. Williams is perpetually under-recruited and might end up at the highest level of D3 ball, but he probably has what it takes to play scholarship ball. He could go for 30 on any given night but will always play the right way. Total stud.

Booth has grown so much—both physically and skill wise—in the past year. The 6-foot-9 big man has put on muscle, and it has made him a more effective defensive presence when it comes to defending the post and contesting drives. Offensively, he has greatly improved his footwork and touch around the rim and is also more coordinated and has better hands than he used to, which allows him to convert on tons of dunker-spot layups and rim runs. Booth, who's only a junior, is probably a scholarship prospect when all is said and done. He's continuing to get better, so the sky is the limit.

Biggins is committed to BC for division 1 football next season, and you can see why. The 6-foot-1 guard is a phenomenal athlete and uses his quickness and explosiveness on fast breaks to completely overwhelm the defense. He also makes solid, under-control reads for his teammates when the help comes. Additionally, unlike many football players, the lefty actually has a very solid three-point shot that he can knock down consistently off the catch or off the dribble. Biggins has probably been Kingswood Oxford's best player this season and could be a college basketball player if he wanted to.

While Biggins might be Kingswood Oxford's best player this year, you can make an argument that Whittley-Ligon is their most important piece. The 6-foot-5 wing is ridiculously versatile; on the defensive end, he can defend wings and guards on the perimeter if he needs to but is also able to use his strength, toughness and jumping ability to contest shots at the rim and defend opposing bigs on switches. Whittley-Ligon is committed to play hoops at Wash U in St. Louis next year, and he's ready to play physically right now. The man is built in his upper body and knows how to use his physical tools.

Trimboli is as skilled as they come. The 5-foot-11 point guard is King School's best scorer and facilitator and can light it up in a variety of ways. He absolutely strokes it from three, and that's what opens up the rest of his game. He has a quick release and moves incredibly well without the ball, so he has a knack for getting shots off in difficult situations. He can also find teammates with great vision and decisiveness and has better jumping ability and strength on drives than you'd think given his size. He'll be playing hoops at Florida Southern College next season.

Dent Jr. is a physically imposing specimen who has a super intriguing skill set given his tools. He's a mid range maestro who does a good job elevating and staying on balanced, and he has a really nice-looking stroke once he enters the paint. He needs to improve his consistency from three, but his mechanics are certainly there. The 6-foot-5 wing also uses his exceptional length for some really nice finishes at the rim, and he has a motor that allows him to excel on the offensive glass and as a versatile defensive player.
