Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Trimboli has been scorching hot towards the end of this season, and he continued his hot shooting into the first round. The 5-foot-11 guard has a knack for getting to his spots and really understands how to use screens both on and off the ball to get his shot off. He plays the pass and go game very well with his big men, and he has all the counters in the world. Aj’s teammate, Julian Dent, had a 4-point play to crush Beaver’s season yesterday, and they’ll look to keep their run going on Saturday against Holderness.

Trimboli is as skilled as they come. The 5-foot-11 point guard is King School’s best scorer and facilitator and can light it up in a variety of ways. He absolutely strokes it from three, and that’s what opens up the rest of his game. He has a quick release and moves incredibly well without the ball, so he has a knack for getting shots off in difficult situations. He can also find teammates with great vision and decisiveness and has better jumping ability and strength on drives than you’d think given his size. He’ll be playing hoops at Florida Southern College next season.
