Borne is trending in the right direction as his impact continues to expand for GW. The versatility pops right now, and he's able to affect the game, even when he's not just scoring. That play is a reason that the Patriots are undefeated right now. He's slashing which is opening the floor, spacing the floor with his jumper, and defending at a higher level which has been noticeable. He had a season-high 19 against Harrison and is quietly filling up the box score with 11 points, 3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.7 steals. He's letting the game come to him while still elevating his team, and that has been the difference.

No player in the conference has boosted their stock more than Taylor early on, and he looks like one of the most improved Seniors in the state early on. He's been the anchor behind GW's 3–0 start, as he's dominated the paint and has shown real growth from last year. We just got out to see him and he had his best game yet. He had a 19-point, 10-rebound, 4-block outing against Overland, which highlighted how different he's moving. He had a game earlier in the season where he nearly posted a triple-double with blocks, which shows his defensive leap. He's become the team's engine and most important player and he's playing extremely well right now.

Kumahn continues trending upward as a new name gaining real traction. His minutes are limited, but he makes them count when he does get minutes by bringing energy, athletic finishes and transition scoring. His 6-point outing vs. Perry and strong performances out of state show he's ready when called upon. He rebounds, runs the floor, wants to play above the rim and competes on every touch. Rangeview can plug him into specific matchups, and his stock will keep rising as his role grows.

Alexander is emerging as a major stock riser for East with his two-way spark and he makes his mark on games, even as a freshman. He opened the year with a career-high 18 points and has been a switchable defender taking on multiple assignments. He's hitting threes, slashing, finishing at the rim and giving them toughness. East looks better with him on the floor, and his chip-on-the-shoulder approach has made him one of their early-season difference makers. We're anxious to see how his game evolves but he's a prospect who is on our radar.

Rhoades-Martinez is trending in the right direction in his senior season as he's delivered his most productive start yet. To srart the year, he's averaging 8.7 points and 3 rebounds. He's found a rhythm and continues to impact both ends. His 11-point, 2-steal performance last game showed his ability to swing stretches with energy and execution. He's a steady four-year varsity piece who fills whatever role is needed. Rather it's scoring, rebounding or defending, he steps in as that glue guy ready to do what needs to be done and has become an increasingly valuable fixture for this group.
