South Bend St. Joseph made the jump to Class 4A this season due to the success factor and the Huskies will be looking the make an impact at that level. SBSJ has a lot of heavyweight players on their team once again this season and one of the key players in the backcourt for them is senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1675493' first='Braylen' last='White']. An under-the-radar prospect, White is listed at 6'3 and is very athletic and is confident as a driver attacking closeouts, playing in transition, or breaking down his man in isolation. He helps make plays happen for the Huskies.

Once again this season, Cathedral is loaded with talent and depth this year and will be looking to make a deep run in Class 3A, possibly getting all the way to Indianapolis in March. The player that can be viewed as the 'X-Factor' for them is senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1561030' first='R'mani' last='Wells']. As of this writing, Wells played extremely well in Irish's first game of the season vs Jeffersonville dropping 11 points and 4 rebounds in the senior season debut. Listed at 6'5, Wells is one of the more versatile forwards you will find in the state currently with his excellent size on the wing as well as his athleticism. You could see a breakout showing from him vs SBSJ on Saturday.

Lawrence North comes into this season as one of the more experienced teams in Class 4A and will be looking to have a big time showing vs Noblesville this weekend. A player on the Lawrence North side that will easy be one of the top pure scorers on the floor is senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='2252744' first='Duke' last='Karnes']. One of the best pure shooters in the state, Karnes is extremely good at getting buckets off the catch and creating open looks for himself. With a more increased role this season, Karnes is player to take advantage of it.

Noblesville is a team that looks like they could be a contender this year in Class 4A with two senior D1 prospects leading them. However, one of the players from their younger core that could make an impact for the Millers is 2028 small forward [player_tooltip player_id='2539932' first='Barrett' last='Rucker']. With great size on the perimeter at 6'5, Rucker is a skilled wing that has the ability to make plays at all levels. He can step out beyond the arc as a shooter, impact the game with his size inside, and has shown the ball skill to compete as a driver and creator.

It has been stated multiple times that the Pike Red Devils are one of the most loaded teams in the state with elite talent with four legit D1 prospects on there roster. But when you look at the glue guys for the Red Devils, one of those players is without question senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1988136' first='Terrencio' last='Davis Jr.'] While on the shorter end as a point guard, Davis is a lightning quick guard that is excellent off of the bounce, scores it against size at the end of his drives, and creates open shots for his teammates as well. He is a guy that can make winning plays for Pike this Saturday and the whole season.

The main event of Sneakers For Santa will see two Class 4A State Titles contenders going at it between Mount Vernon (Fortville) and Fishers. For MVF, Mr. Basketball favorite and Purdue signee [player_tooltip player_id='1728587' first='Luke' last='Ertel'] will draw a lot of attention but it his front court teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2140419' first='Max' last='Vise'] who could make the biggest impact of the game. Vise, a true 6'8 center, is a mobile big man that can score well in the paint, rebound at a high level, and defend the rim. In two reported games this season, Vise has averaged 7.5 points and 8.0 rebounds. He will have the task of going up against Fishers power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'].

Fishers is again the favorite to cut down the nets in Class 4A this season with arguably the best backcourt in the whole state. A senior guard that will also be a big factor in the backcourt is [player_tooltip player_id='2575585' first='Jean-Claude' last='L'homme']. He spent a year away from Fishers last season playing at Lawrence Central but is back to be a impact player in the backcourt for the Tigers. He is an athletic playmaker with some perimeter shooting ability to keep the defense honest. A small college prospect to watch this Saturday.
