Thacker has wasted no time showing he belongs. The freshman guard has been one of Mullen's most reliable offensive options, scoring in a variety of ways while playing with extreme confidence. He's comfortable shooting off the bounce, or moving for set shots, attacking closeouts, and creating looks for himself or teammates. The poise stands out for his age, and his ability to impact games nightly makes him a clear debut addition as he's putting up 13.8 points a game which lands int he top-5 in the class.

Oberg has announced himself early as a physical mismatch and that should be the case for his HS career. At 6'7, he's already imposing inside while flashing touch from beyond the arc. That two-way option makes him dangerous. He runs the floor, finishes through contact, and is beginning to understand how dominant he can be. He's averaging 13.8 points and has 7.9 boards a game to go along with it which is not something you see too often from a freshman. The production, frame, and feel all point to a player that will have a successful highs school career. He's quickly shifted from an unknown commodity to a piece worth building around and easily makes his way into the rankings.

Whiteside has been one of the more assertive freshmen in the state as he's putting up an impressive 13.2 points a game. He attacks gaps, lives in the paint, and converts possessions into points with pace and purpose. His energy shows up on the glass as well as in transition, and his recent 27-point outing showcased his upside when he's rolling. The confidence is growing, the motor is steady, and his impact now demands attention. He will make his debut in the 2029 rankings and we want to get out and see what the hype is about.

Styles already plays with varsity strength and presence and they rely on the freshman. He uses his body well inside, finishes plays with soft touch, and consistently runs the floor for easy baskets. He's putting up 8.2 points and 6.6 rebounds a game coming out of the break. His motor separates him and he creates opportunities instead of waiting for them. He looks comfortable for an underclassmen and his recent 17-point, 14-rebound performance shows his high ceiling. That Palmer team is intriguing and he only adds to it.

Lopez has become a valuable two-way contributor early in the season or Greeley Central. He defends with purpose, competes in passing lanes, and brings spacing on offense with confident perimeter shooting. His ability to impact the game without dominating the ball has been key for Greeley Central's competitiveness. He plays hard and understands his role which make him an intriguing prospect entering the rankings.
