Mr. Basketball Classic Standout Performers Part 2

Over the course of the day, several of the state's top players were in action. He scored 34 points and pulled down 8 rebounds while showing he is a true three level scorer. Taeshawn knocked down 2 threes against Jeffersontown and blocked or altered a lot of shots as well. Elite at getting paint touches, Owens has shown he's been working on his game in the offseason as well. Now shooting 46% from three and 71% from the free throw line, Amari has strengthened his weaknesses. Damere showed he can score the ball well in addition to doing an admirable job on Owens when they were matched up against each other. Just as much of a facilitator as he is a scorer these days, J-Town will only go as far as Harrison leads them. Gay shot 5/10 from long range and was 8/15 overall. He also had one of the most impressive games of the day as he pinned [player_tooltip player_id='1359130' first='Jonathan' last='Moss']' dunk attempt on the glass. Tallying 18 points and 23 rebounds in the win along with keeping the GRC bigs in foul trouble all game, DeAaron looked to be reaching his potential for the first time. I've long been a fan of Watkins and love his ceiling as a prospect.
