It was one heck of a coming out party for this sophomore guard on Monday afternoon at the Huntington North Holiday Classic. After Fort Wayne Wayne trailed 22-7 at the end of the first quarter Akison came in and nailed four three-point shots to help the Generals take a 38-35 lead into the halftime break. He went on to tie the team-high with 20 points while making six total three-point shots.

Dixon was the star of the show throughout the first game at Huntington North on Monday. Then, the dynamic junior guard buried the game-winning shot as time expired to put a bow on a spectacular game. He finished with 30 points to lead all scorers as South Bend Adams moved to 6-0 on the season defeating previous unbeaten Columbia City 60-57.

Green took over in the third quarter for Wayne as he went on to score 14 of his 20 points in the second half to lead Fort Wayne Wayne to a 72-65 victory. Once trailing 22-7 after the first quarter, the Generals were poured by their backcourt in the comeback victory and this unsigned senior was certainly a big part of it. Green's athleticism and shot-making ability really stand out.

Horvath is an absolutely massive presence on the hardwood. However, he is also highly skilled. That skill level was on display as he didn't miss a shot until midway through the fourth quarter. The 6'8" unsigned senior center finished with 22 points and 6 rebounds, but Mishawaka Marian fell to Fort Wayne Wayne 72-65. The way he finishes around the basket, along with his ability to stretch the floor a bit, is very impressive.

It was tough sledding for the host Huntington North Vikings on Monday afternoon. They lost to a very talented Toledo Central Catholic team 81-51. However, unsigned senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='2398998' first='Dalton' last='Husband'] finished with 14 points to lead the Vikings. He is a strong, athletic finisher around the basket with good positional quickness and footwork. Projects as a small college 4-man.

Johnson, an Eastern Michigan signee, came out of the gate hot to set the tone for Toledo Central Catholic's 81-51 blowout victory over host Huntington North. The 6'2" guard connected on three three-point shots early and went on to finish with 20 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals. Eastern Michigan is getting a very talented, dynamic playmaker with good length on the perimeter.

Johnson was the star early on for Toledo Central Catholic, but Kynard came on strong in the second and third quarters to help pull away to an 81-51 win over host Huntington North. The 6'1" junior guard hit three three-point shots and displayed some explosive finishing ability up around the rim while playing through contact. He went on to finish with 25 points to lead all scorers in the game.

A Bethel signee, Marshall led Columbia City with an efficient 16 points and 4 assists in their 60-57 loss to South Bend Adams. The 6'3" guard did a good job of handling the ball and didn't get sped up by the length and athleticism of Adams' guard. He is a skilled offensively player with a very well-rounded game. Marshall was a big part of Columbia City's fourth quarter comeback, but the Eagles fell on a buzzer-beater.

This versatile 6'4" forward was hounded all game long inside. South Bend Adams did a great job of fronting him in the post and then providing backside help to make entry passes difficult. The Huntington signee still was able to fight and claw his way to 15 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists in Columbia City's 60-57 loss.

Mishawka Marian came up short falling to Fort Wayne Wayne 72-65 at the Huntington North Holiday Classic on Monday afternoon. However, this 5'11" junior guard did a little bit of everything for the Knights. Wells finished with an impressive stat line of 19 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 7 steals. His quickness and playmaking ability really shined in this often chaotic, up-tempo game.
