To continue my coverage, here are some jumbo wings who really dominated.

Brennan can play small ball 5 or the wing position because of his size and bulk, but also his skill. The 6-foot-4 wing is patient offensively but is able to bully his way into the paint and uses slow step footwork quite well to finish around both bigger and smaller players. He's able to make outside shots, too, though elevating his accuracy from there would really unlock his ability to dominate the game on that end of the floor. Brennan can defend forwards because of his strength, so I'm intrigued to see how he'll fit into the college game at Connecticut College next year. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a big part of their team right away.

Mera is a super intriguing wing who, like Brennan, has great strength in his upper and lower body and uses it to bully his way into the paint. The 6-foot-4 wing has a bit more length than Brennan, though, and uses it to extend for finishes with both hands, and he has better footwork and craft in the paint than you'd think given his size and strength. He can also make an outside shot occasionally, and I would expect the junior to keep improving on this part of his game over the next couple of years based on his ability to finish with finesse around the rim right now. Mera is a key part of a talented Holderness squad filled with big wings, and he should be looked at by D3 coaches at this point, with time to change that.

Langley rounds out the trio of jumbo Holderness wings who have skill and strength on the offensive end of the floor. The 6-foot-5 wing is a very long and explosive athlete, but he doesn't overuse his athleticism and is content to play at his own speed and pick his spots offensively. I really liked the way he passed the ball against BB&N, consistently getting into the lane and finding shooters for open looks. When he needs to, he can finish at the rim with contact and can make some shots from the outside. He's a D3 player who should be super productive at that level.

Newsom started off a bit slow against the Middlesex School on Friday, but he had a ridiculously dominant second half that propelled St. Luke's to a really solid win. The 6-foot-4 wing is a phenomenal athlete and really excels with a head of steam in transition. He can elevate for contact finishes at the rim, but he can also make on target, on time passes to his teammates once the defense inevitably collapses on him. Newsom should be getting scholarship looks and will really improve his game by being able to make a higher percentage of his outside shots. The junior has time to figure that out, though, and he's a super intriguing long-term prospect.

Freeman steadily improves every time I watch him play, and recently it seems like he's stronger and sturdier on takes to the rim than ever before. Against St. Luke's, he was unstoppable as a driver and got fouled time and time again because of his ability to get to the front of the rim for easy looks and his willingness to seek out contact against anyone. He can also beat defenses from the outside with both off the catch and off the dribble threes, and he can bully smaller defenders in the post. Freeman is committed to Rollins College, a D2 school, and he should continue to develop his game to a point where he can be a meaningful piece of that squad next year.

Clement has to be one of the more intriguing players in the entire region. The 6-foot-8 wing is super skinny and lanky, but he has a wiggle to his game that you rarely see for someone that size. He has some crafty finishing moves around the rim, he can make shots from the outside (though I'd like to see him get more consistent here), and he also gets putback layups and dunks simply because of his size, athleticism, and activity. Clement could look A LOT different in a couple years and I wouldn't be surprised if scholarship schools are all over him for that exact reason. He's impactful right now, but the potential is insane if he can put it all together and grow into his length and size.

If Clement wasn't the most intriguing wing/forward at the Huckins Rouse tournament, it was Malcore. The 6-foot-9 sophomore has amazing length and jumping ability and gets high above the rim for finishes when he needs to. But he can also use up fakes and crafty footwork to find easy finishing opportunities in the paint, so he doesn't always rely on his size and hops beat the defense. I didn't see him shoot too many outside shots, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's a part of his offensive game as well, or will at least continue to improve as he gets older considering his touch around the hoop. Defensively, he uses his length and timing to impact shots at the rim. Malcore is an extremely intriguing sophomore who should be on the radar of coaches at all levels—anything is possible for this kid.
