He showed a soft touch around the rim to finish easy looks, while also being capable of throwing it down when needed. His size and strength also allowed him to draw fouls and consistently get to the free-throw line.

His heads-up, smart defense was on display on day one as well. He did everything possible to put his team in the best position to win. With his team trailing heading into the fourth quarter, Dylan stepped up and led the charge to force overtime. Navajo Prep secured the win in overtime, and Dylan's performance was a major reason why.

Dylan finished the game with 31 points, shooting 10-of-19 from the field and 8-of-9 from the free-throw line. Dylan ended the game with an outstanding 8 steals.

Brayden shined in overtime by securing an offensive rebound and converting a putback to give Navajo Prep a two-point lead. Brayden finished the game shooting 5-of-8 from the field and 6-of-8 from the line, ending with 16 points and 8 rebounds.

Brayden Benally was a calm and steady presence for Navajo Prep in their first game of the tournament. He used his quick first step to get into the paint and his soft touch to finish, while also showing the ability to score through contact at the rim. When the defense gave him space, he confidently let it fly from deep.
