Richardson was one of the better shooters on the weekend, and in the moments that we saw him, he let it fly. He also hit some timely shots that got his team going, and in his game against UH Elite Gold, he secured his team the win with a big 3-pointer later in the game. He wasn’t only a shooter, however, on the weekend, as he opened up the defense with his ability to attack in iso, and he had a couple of tough floaters against solid size. His versatility stands out. He put the ball on the floor, attacked off the dribble, and had a few runs by himself that led to timeouts. He’s a player who saw his stock rise on the weekend with big performances.

consistently got to the basket with ease for Rio Rancho. As an athletic player, he used his ability to outjump defenders and his change of pace to create scoring opportunities at the rim. Throughout the game, he was active around the basket, battling for rebounds and converting putbacks. He was able to get to his spots consistently and impose his will offensively.
Rio Rancho plays strong, physical defense, and Cayden’s athleticism is a key component of that identity.

Richardson delivered some of the most exciting moments of the day. His athleticism was on full display with ferocious dunks in transition and emphatic blocks on defense. But he wasn’t just a highlight player — Richardson showed he could score at all three levels, knocking down jumpers and attacking gaps with control. His ability to elevate above the rim separates him from many of his peers and gives him significant upside as a guard who can impact both ends. Richardson looked like one of the clear stock risers at NMJC.

Cayden is a high flyer on the court! He has the ability to guard just about anybody on the floor with his athletisim. He is capable of pinning a layup off the glass or snatching an attempted dunk out of your hands. He does a great job of finishing around the rim with his leaping abilities.
