Francis ushered in a new era of Adrian basketball in style. He showed that he's more than ready to take over the scoring load from the departed Stevie Elam. Francis finished the win against Bedford with 28 total points. He scored from beyond the arc, in transition and from the free throw line.

Hartland picked up a big early season win with a 58-47 win against St. Clair. Morrish was the same Morrish that I saw all spring and summer. He scored 17 critical points in the win. All signs point to a huge junior season for the star guard.

Royal Oak opened the season with a hard fought 67-59 win against Holly. Hairston paced Royal Oak on the offensive end of the floor. He finished with an eye-raising 31 points. Hairston has drawn some eyes on his game early in the season!

Haqq is an explosive player with an offensive mindset. He can catch fire and he did in Lincoln Park's 51-40 victory. Park paced his team with a game high 23 points. Even better was the fact that he added 7 rebounds to his stat line. I guarantee we'll see more high scoring games from Haqq.
