Delgado has long been one of our favorite "glue guys" in the region, but looked to be acclimating well to a new role as a go-to guy for his senior year. The Swiss-army forward poured in a hyper-efficient 23 points while maintaining the level of activity and defensive intensity that's become his calling card in years past. He feasted near the rim for a series of athletic finishes off cuts, putbacks, and transition leakouts while also stepping out for a clean corner 3 when the opportunity presented. Delgado also showed increased comfort using his quickness and ball skills to create his own shot off the dribble. His physical tools, versatility, and willingness to do whatever is asked for the good of the team should all position him well to impact winning at the next level whether it be in the D1 or D2 ranks.

Despite a season-opening loss, Corrao continued a strong run of play while further establishing himself as one of the region's premier unsigned frontcourt prospects. The senior hybrid big poured in 24 points, continuing to turn potential into production as a floor-spacer while knocking down five 3s, with multiple coming on the move or even off the dribble. He used his size and length to take care of business near the rim as a consistent factor on the glass and frequent visitor to the foul line after seeking out contact in traffic. Corrao left little doubt as to why his blend of size and inside-out skill has drawn attention from several D1 programs.

Jefferson got off to a slow start with Jackson struggling and fellow senior star [player_tooltip player_id='2466505' first='Jahda' last='Swann'] in foul trouble, but came roaring back in the second half led by an offensive onslaught at the hand of Jackson. A senior transfer via Eagle Academy Brooklyn, Jackson scored 18 of his 20 points after halftime as the Orange Wave nearly came all the way back to win. He was aggressive using his compact handle and strong upper body to work his way downhill and finish in congestion, also seeking out contact and finding his way to the foul line. Jackson proved himself as a reliable floor-spacer as well, sliding off-ball and knocking down multiple 3s off the catch. He should be a popular name among scholarship-level coaches this winter as he looks to help Jefferson back to another PSAL crown.

A returning double-figure scorer from last year, Moody will step further up the rotation as a senior and looked comfortable with the increased workload while steering the Kingsmen to a comfortable season-opening win. A classic lead guard, he kept the ball on a string while weaving to his spots with ease and expertly controlling the pace of the game. He established himself early on as a scoring threat with his pullup jumper, later stretching things out while knocking down multiple deep 3s off the catch. His crafty playmaking and defensive ball pressure added a needed two-way jolt to a lineup otherwise filled primarily with athletes, defenders, and finishers. Despite falling into the "undersized" category, Moody should have a chance to catch eyes at the scholarship-level this winter or could make a big splash next year at the prep school level, having just recently turned 17.

A fixture at the helm of the Holy Cross lineup since his freshman year, Crawford is back leading the Knights once again and was up to his usual tricks while steering a season-opening win over host Archbishop Ryan. It was a typical performance for those accustomed to Crawford's game over the years, as the senior lead guard showed his blend of aggression and natural craft while weaving through traffic off the bounce. He was effective making plays both for himself and teammates, really helping create separation on the scoreboard with his passing ability off penetration. Crawford should cement himself as a scholarship-level guard this winter with the Knights looking positioned to make a move up the standings behind their senior floor general and a talented younger core.
