Win two games in a row you're in the championship game. There were 8 teams: <strong>Branson, Clovis North, Dublin, Folsom, Gridley, Modesto Christian, Saint Mary's from Albany, Salesian College Prep.</strong></p>

<p><strong>Championship Game: Salesian College Prep 71, Modesto Christian 53</strong></p>

He continues to be a consistent contributor in all the key areas for this team. <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2136797' first='Elijah' last='Payne']: He's helping with the ball handling in the early season, there's progress. He made the All Tournament team with his overall play at this event. He's best right now spotting up for 3-pointers, and mid-ranges on the catch. He made 3-3's in the title game for 13pts. He's an improving ball handler and passer.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='3149607' first='Somto' last='Patrick']: The 6'8 Freshman is a formidable shot blocker, and shot changer establishing himself as the top shot blocker in the 2029 class. By our count he had 8 blocks, 7 rebounds in the title game before fouling out. He often used his length, didn't go for fakes too often. He has the tools to balance his game on both ends of the court. <br></p>

<p><strong>Dublin 68, Folsom 58: Third Place Game</strong></p>

<p>This is considered an upset. Folsom is a top team in NorCal, with a DI commit, and another DI prospect on the roster. Dublin is finding its way after losing two key players to transfer. <br>[player_tooltip player_id='2089555' first='Aiden' last='Li']: An underrated guard in the EBAL up until now, showed off his guard skills dropping 22 points, running the teams offensive sets, with quality handles, good passing, making smart decisions.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2873063' first='Nick' last='Lee']: He's a legitimate threat to knock down 3's around the perimeter. He dropped key buckets throughout the game when the team needed them. He handle's contact, finished with a few driving scoops around the basket. He gives effort defending, had 15 points in the 3rd place game.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='3232012' first='Izaiyah' last='Romero']: He's a muscular body, standing 6'2. The newcomer/Senior has plenty of strength and hops for dunks, and strong finishes around the rim. He has the handles two create a bit. He spots up, takes his time to shoot open 3-pointers. He backed a few defenders down from the mid-post using two dribbles, turning and going over the top. He averaged around 15 points the 2 games we saw.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2484218' first='Parks' last='Weaver'] the Sophomore carried the team in this game finishing with 3-3's, and 26 points. He's a big guard listed at 6'3. He runs the point guard, has quality handles, deals with ball pressure, doesn't get speed up, keeps his dribble live. He knocked down multiple mid-range, and 3-pointers off the dribble with a hand in face. He has multiple DI offers</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2967475' first='Alec' last='Day']: The 6'4 wing and Menlo signee. He's a legitimate wing type player with improving handles to drive to the basket, movement around the perimeter. He's a passer, found teammates multiple times cutting to the basket. He showed he could hit the 3ptr early, use his size to go inside for a bucket, driving or cutting. He gets rebounds, talks on the defensive side of the ball. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2879174' first='Kellen' last='Garcia']: The 6'6 long wing forward put himself on the radar the night before. He has length and an improving skill set. He made good cuts to finish around the basket, showed he could spot up for corner 3's. He got rebounds, key rebounds on the offensive side of the ball. 9pts.</p>

<p><strong>Clovis North 75, Branson 63: Fifth Place Game</strong></p>

<p><strong>McKae Amundsen:</strong> The Idaho State commit was in big game mode as he went for the tournament high 32 points in his final appearance at the Gridley Tournament. He was an All-Tournament selection. He took over in the 4th qtr with 14pts to seal the deal.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2977779' first='Elias' last='Gish']: He's one of the better prospects in the Central Valley. The unsigned Senior contributes in different ways. Standing 6'7 he's honed his skill set that allows him to generate buckets in the paint, driving, cutting, and some mid-post work with good foot work. He's always been a good 3-point shooter. He rebounds, runs the court, gives good effort defending his position. 25-points. He was our All-Tournament selection.</p>

<p><strong>Miles Tucker: </strong>The 5'9 Junior guard is waiting in the wings, he's a good 3-point shooter from the Central Valley. At this event the night before he knocked down 5-3-pointers. He spots up around the perimeter, doesn't hesitate on the catch and shoot. He has good speed, and energy, he can do more than just shoot 3's. He has decent handles, can finish with floaters, and paint jumpers.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2212735' first='NJ' last='Gray']: NorCal's top prospect in the class of 2027. He blended excellent point guard play, decision making, passing with getting buckets in a variety of ways, 2-3's early. He continued to play aggressive, but smart despite being in foul trouble, he didn't foul out, kept his team in the game. He scored 19 points, earned All-Tournament.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2686625' first='Tyler' last='Wells']: He's expanded his game, to fill the void after the loss two starters. The 6'1 guard has improved his overall play this season. He had 12 points in this game. He's a ball mover, runs the court, doesn't make a lot of mistakes. He stays in good position on defense, a weak side helper, he boxes out. He's scoring on strong drives to the basket.</p>

He picked up assists moving the ball around the perimeter with good passing. He defends hard, works to stay on ball, got a few steals. He had 16 points in the loss. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2094283' first='Christopher' last='Baltrip']: St. Mary's gets a win to avoid going 0-3. Led by long wing/forward Baltrips 18 points, and multiple rebounds. In a game like this he showed his potential as a player. He takes care of the ball, did a fair amount of ball handling up top, he'll rebound and go. He's an effective passer from different areas of the court. He's utilizing his size to score around the basket. He's facing up, and attacking from the high and mid post.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2352720' first='Donovan' last='Mikel']: He's a long wing forward plays out on the perimeter putting up 3-pointers if open. He works from high mid, and low post at times. He'll shoot the free throw jumper, back you down from the mid-post, use a jump hook on the block. He's a better passer than he gets credit for. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2881683' first='Mathias' last='Yonas']: He gained valuable experience at this event. He put up a good number of shots the two games we watched. He hit 2-3's the night before, while hitting 3-3's for 9 points in the final game to help get the victory.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1707505' first='Bikram' last='Kullar']: He's 6'7 with a growing skill set. He handles well for his size, has vision to make no look passes, find cutters, and shooters after driving into the paint. He's got a paint jumper that's hard to block, a mid-range off the dribble, he shows range putting up 3's. He'll have to get stronger, and recondition himself after missing time. He scored 11 points.</p>
