Check out some stock-riser guards in this senior class. As the season gets underway, we get to see who is ready to make one final statement in their last high school season. Whether it's scoring, defending, or making an extra pass, he finds ways to contribute in a lot of areas. He searches for good shots, has a dependable motor, and his athleticism allows him to be a versatile matchup defender.

Skaggs is another guard who has been steadily rising up the ranks. He showed big flashes of skill as a younger player and has since become one of Bellevue's go-to guys in his senior year. He's a major threat from 3-point range but also has the ability to hit off various moves and footwork in the midrange. And his creativity off the bounce allows him to be a key playmaker for the Wolverines as well.

Alexander moved to Emerald Ridge this winter, and he has continued to have a big impact with his energy and toughness on both ends. He's a smaller guard but he's got some of the most relentless energy out there. That energy and ability to create turnovers on the defensive end have already shown up in big moments this season, as well as his 3-point shooting.

Howe is a kid who burst on the scene as an all-league player last winter, and has looked even more dangerous in the early part of this season. He has great burst, plays off two feet, gets constant penetration and paint touches, and although he's just 5-foot-11, he goes right at defenders at the rim. He's a kid we want to get more eyes on this season, and could continue to rise in his senior season.

The Franklin guard is a strong player who has really shown improvements athletically and an ability to overpower defenders with his physicality. He is a kid who will shoot down lanes and attack the rim with a purpose, but has also been able to stretch the floor with his outside shot. He handles the ball a lot for the Quakers, and his ability to get into the paint and make plays will be crucial for them this winter.

Carney is a pretty underrated guard from the east side of the state. He has decent size at 6-foot-4 to match up with both guard spots, and plays a pretty solid game on both ends of the floor. He plays stingy perimeter defense and makes timely plays offensively, capably scoring inside and out while showing good shot selection and patience offensively.

Moscrip is a gritty guard who has some good defensive versatility and has really taken a step forward offensively over the summer and heading into his senior year. His outside shot has improved, he looks calm with the ball, and ready for contact when he drives inside.

Check out some stock-riser guards in this senior class. As the season gets underway, we get to see who is ready to make one final statement in their last high school season. These next seven guards have all stood out early on and look poised for strong senior years.
