On Monday, November 10tj we released our updated and expanded Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings. Over the course of the last few months we have continued to evaluate across summer grassroots events, fall showcases and leagues, and our travels to specific high schools to watch their preseason workouts. As always, we look to update our rankings every few months and we wanted to get this latest update done before the start of the upcoming high school season. We were able to expand a bit from ranking the Top 100 to the Top 125 while adding 50 prospects in total bringing the Class of 2027 database to over 500 prospects. Over the course of this week we will be diving deeper into the rankings by highlighting stock-risers, new names, top watch list names, and much more. Let's dive on in.

Our Prep Hoops Indiana scout Logan Greenwell does a great job of providing more in-depth coverage of the greater Evansville area and he was raving about Eastwood coming out of this summer. He will be a key piece of the Evansville Bosse High School backcourt this season as a junior and is now ranked #91 in the Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings. We are anxious to see him more this season.

One of a few international prospects at Kokomo High School, Gak brings some intriguing perimeter skill and two-way length to the Wildkats roster. The 6'4" wing can shoot it, but also has the ability to use his length against smaller defenders inside of the arc. He also projects as a highly versatile defender at the next level. Gak makes his debut in our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Rankings at #62 overall.

An under-the-radar name out of southern Indiana, Hughes is coming off of a solid sophomore season at Batesville High School that saw him average 10.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. The 6'4" guard/wing has good positional size, but can also really shoot it from beyond the arc. He shot 40-87 (46.0%) from three-point range last season. Hughes makes his debut at #122 in our rankings.

Speaking to some trusted sources up in the Fort Wayne area, Jordan is set to be one of the best pure point guards in the area this season. The 5'11" playmaker is very quick, makes good decisions, and creates his own shot from all levels. He shot 40% from three-point range last season and averaged 6.9 points and 4.2 assists per game. Now ranked #92 in Indiana's Class of 2027, Jordan should emerge this season as one of the top pure point guards in the area.

Sullivan High School has two very, very good big men. Ridgway, a 6'7" junior, is one of them that will give the Golden Arrows the best front line in Class 2A this season. Ridgway put up 13.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game as a sophomore. The left-handed forward is a strong, athletic finisher around the basket and continues to expand his skill level. He has flashed the ability to stretch the floor and attack the basket off of the bounce some as well. We think he could continue to climb our rankings.

One of Center Grove's go-to players as a sophomore, South averaged 9.3 points and 5.2 assists per game. The 6'1" point guard is one of the best playmakers in the area, but has flown a bit under-the-radar to this point. However, that should change now that he makes his debut in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings at #90 overall. He has a big junior year loading.

A former Hoosier native, [player_tooltip player_id='2243047' first='Caleb' last='Wells'] is back in Indiana and attending Lawrence Central High School for his junior season alongside his senior brother Vincent. The 6'6" shooting guard immediately was slotted in at #8 overall in the Class of 2027. He obviously has great size on the perimeter and is one of the best shot-makers as well. Look for him to immediately be a go-to guy for what will be a Top 10 Lawrence Central team this season. He is absolutely a Division I talent.
