Holmes is not a typical front-court guy, he's a rare true guard/forward because he can dribble, pass, and shoot while being a real physical presence in that 6'6" frame. Holmes is very reliable as a shooter off the catch, can explode at the rim in transition, and can bully smaller defenders on switches. He's a true three level guy that is turning the potential to production corner quickly and should continue to garner the high major recruitment we've seen him get lately.

Hilldale had one of NC's top early season individual performances vs Cresset Christian. The junior poured in 35 points in the win by simply doing his job. He was the benefactor of elite execution from him and his teammates with the occasional heat check mixed in. Hilldale uses his strong frame to finish through contact, he did a really nice job attacking after facing up, where he utilized his footwork and touch to get bucket after bucket. He also displayed the ability to pass teammates open out of the post which is a huge asset with all of the weapons around him. Look for Hilldale to have a breakout year!

Sanoh is a new name in North Carolina but he looks to have a chance to be a guy we talk about a lot over the next three years. Sanoh is an anchor defensively, blocking and altering so many shots at the rim, making it super difficult for opposition to get anything at the basket in the half court. He had a monster dunk in this one, as his hands and footwork continue to improve, his offensive game should catch up quickly. Sanoh should be a huge factor for Trinity Christian all season long.

Carlyle can play in the backcourt and the front-court but is asked to guard bigger guys for this group so he fits the criteria today. What he does do every night regardless is compete, make shots, and finish at the rim at a really high rate. He uses the respect defenses give him against them and attacks bad closeouts for easy baskets. His frame has bulked up and he's now able to play through more contact at both ends in that 6'6" frame. Carlyle is one of the main reasons First Flight is a legit NCHSAA 5A state title contender and schools should start to notice him soon.

Nicholson is a guy that continues to get better and better at a steady rate. A mobile big that consistently catches lobs, anchors the defense, and is showing more flashes of his game expanding quickly. For this TBS team he provides that backbone defensively at the rim and a ton of vertical spacing offensively. He knows their system well, understands his role, and executes it at a high level consistently. His ranking will rise considerably in the next update and it's easy to see why within moments of watching him.
