We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. He is 29-60<strong> </strong>as a head coach.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2116874' first='Parker' last='Kern']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jahari-miller/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Stars of Bedford North Lawrence lose quite a bit of production from last season, but with that comes opportunity — and the player who should make the most of it is junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2116874' first='Parker' last='Kern']. At around 6'1", Kern is a true combo guard who can score at a high level while also serving as a reliable initiator of the offense. When watching Kern play, it's easy to be impressed by his high motor, speed, and athleticism, with his skill set continuing to improve each game. He's the type of player who will make a major impact on winning for BNL over the next couple of years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player:&nbsp;[player_tooltip player_id='1560977' first='Daxton' last='Short']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/chace-ford/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the backcourt with Kern is one of the senior leaders of this Bedford team — 2026 guard [player_tooltip player_id='1560977' first='Daxton' last='Short']. Short is one of the few players returning with valuable varsity experience and will once again be slotted as a key piece in the backcourt for BNL this season. The 6'2" guard can play both on and off the ball but is at his best when attacking the lane and finishing at the rim.
