Short is known to be aggressive in the lane but he shot the outside ball pretty well in this game also. As long as makes smart decisions on both ends of the floor while remaining aggressive, he can Bedford a chance in most games.

A savvy, versatile wing that can play all over the floor offensively. Showed the ability to initiate offense and distribute while still staying aggressive to score. Does a good job using his size and length to play over the top of the defense. Confident shooter off the catch with a smooth stroke. Isn’t the quickest player on the floor, but was able to use the angles well to get to his spots and make plays for himself as well as others.

Got a chance to watch Short when Bedford played Washington on Sunday. Thought he did a pretty solid job getting into the lane as a bigger guard and trying to get through contact. Hit a few impressive threes as well.

Bedford North Lawrence was very impressive in their opening game of the day with Short being among their leaders. He played well as the day went along too. Short can make shots from the perimeter, has the strength to play through contact off of the dribble, and finished well at the end of his drives. Look for him to have a big senior season as one of the featured options for the Stars.

- Thought Short brought the tough edge here in this game. Played with a high motor and was willing lock in on the defensive end and cause disruptions on that end. Showed he could stretch the floor as well.

This 6’2″ guard from Bedford North Lawrence High School impressed with his two-way ability on the perimeter at the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo on Sunday. Short was very active on the defensive end getting some deflections in the passing lanes and playing sold on-ball defense as well. Offensively, he came off of a downscreen into a mid-range jump shot and finished a nice putback in the game I was watching. Good size and strength in the backcourt.
