WESTWOOD — Pauley Pavilion on the campus of UCLA played host to the second annual Trinity-Mission League Challenge, a seven-game showcase event featuring cross-league matchups of two of the top high school basketball leagues in the country. In game two of the day, Orange Lutheran defeated St. Francis, 58-49, behind impressive shooting performances from [player_tooltip player_id='2893813' first='Noah' last='Zeola'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2888818' first='Josh' last='King'].

King and Zeola Form Strong Shooting Duo

[player_tooltip player_id='2893813' first='Noah' last='Zeola'], a sophomore transfer from Huntington Beach Marina, scored a team-high 19 points with four three-pointers, and [player_tooltip player_id='2888818' first='Josh' last='King'], a transfer from Troy, added 18 points with five triples, which was aided by middle penetration of the St. Francis zone that led to clean looks at catch-and-shoot threes. King and Zeola have the ultimate green light to pull from deep and they take full advantage of it. Luckily for the team, the duo usually makes more than they miss.

The Nate Klitzing Era off to a Good Start at OLu

The longtime Orange Lutheran assistant, who sharpened his head coaching resume at Crean Lutheran, returned to OLu this spring and has his team firing on all cylinders early in the season. The Lancers are 4-1 on the season, with their only loss coming to Damien, a perennial SoCal power in the Rumble on the Hill event. Klitzing doesn't have a ton of size with his first roster - but he has shooting - and has adjusted his style of play to be fast paced, free-flowing, with lots of deep jumpers going up.

Millogo Getting Comfortable With New Team

Seven-foot-3 center [player_tooltip player_id='2878517' first='Cherif' last='Millogo'], who transferred to the La Cañada-based school from CATS Academy in Boston, is a one-of-a-kind prospect in the region with his combination of size, length, fluidity and defensive instincts. The junior center scored 17 points, pulled down 21 rebounds and blocked four shots in the losing effort and has plenty of room for development which makes him one of the most intriguing 2027 players out west.

Inside Presence of Millogo Brings New Look to Mission League

The Mission League is consistently one of the best high school basketball leagues in the country - filled with countless Division 1 prospects and good coaching staffs, which is why the Golden Knights went winless in league play last season. That should change this season with Millogo's two-way impact being something that no other team in the league - and region - has at its disposal. The game planning for St. Francis' opponents will be centered around the center and his ability to suck in a defense with his paint touches and protect the rim on defense will make the Golden Knights a tough out on any night.
