5A: Hillsboro Spartans – 2025-26 Season Preview

I'll go over each team's key players going into this coming season, list the returners/newcomers, and key departures. The senior spotted up on the perimeter for a number of cath-and-shoot attempts and proved that he was a threat from three-point range, draining multiple threes in the first game at the event. Also established himself as one of the top defensive rebounders. A 5'10 senior guard, who was a two year starter at Aloha, we saw this summer when he played AAU with Team Flash. He impressed us with his quick first step and ability to create for his teammates. Bruno also displayed his shooting range as he made some tough shots from deep in the games we saw. Offensively the 6-foot-2 combo guard from Hillsboro was effective both shooting from long range and getting to the basket, and was rock solid on defense. Looked to make plays for others as much as for himself.
