The improvement every time I see [player_tooltip player_id='2140443' first='Tait' last='Wetzel'] play is astonishing. The versatile junior forward out of Heritage Hills continues to work hard to improve his all around game. Always been a strong remember and low post scorer, but is unlocking more out of his game by being able to make plays on the perimeter. Showed a consistent three point shot in both games in Sunday with a clean confident stroke. Showed the improved handle with combo moves and a quick first step on his drive to the best. What I liked most is that he's not falling in love with the perimeter. He always went back to his bread and butter, which is the low block where he rebounded well, and scored with a soft touch.

Not sure there is a prospect in the Pocket City Fall League with more untapped potential than [player_tooltip player_id='2575590' first='Wallace' last='Kiteka'] out of Vincennes Rivet. He impacted the game on both ends of the floor with his high motor. Defended multiple positions. Scored all over the floor and used his athleticism to finish at the rim. He's a fluid athlete continues to improve after every game.

Left handed true point guard out of Tecumseh played with the pedal to the metal in both games. He was aggressive getting to the rim while playing under control and running the show for his teammates. Had a big impact on both ends of the floor. Defended multiple positions and was constantly communicating well. Rebounded his position and pushed the tempo finding teammates for buckets on multiple occasions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560964' first='Edwin' last='Holmes'] was doing what he does in Week 1 of the Pocket City Fall League. The Indiana Junior All-Star showed his versatility on both ends of the floor. In a close game early in the day, Edwin took over and started putting his head down and scoring at the rim at will. His combination of size and skill is what makes him the best player in the league and he showed it.

Not sure there is a more nuclear scoring option in the league than [player_tooltip player_id='2625553' first='Houston' last='Schoonover']. His scoring ability from all three levels was in full display throughout week 1. High IQ player that makes his teammates better. He impacts the game on both ends. Really good at cutting off the ball and being a play finisher at the basket. Got hot in the second game and helped lead his team back for a win hitting his last three 3's.

The shifty senior guard out of Mount Vernon was electric in the parts of two games I got to see him play. Noticeably quicker with his first step, he was able to get to whatever spot on the floor he wanted and was efficient scoring all day long. What I've thought Meyer need to improve on the most was defense and he took the challenge and played with a high motor and was active on the defensive end playing passing lanes and using his length to create chaos. Scholarship level player that is starting to buy in on the defensive end.

The smooth scoring senior wing from Evansville North was as efficient of a scorer as what I saw on Sunday. He does a good job using his body to play physical on his drives. Stays on balance well and with his size he can rise up in the midrange and score with ease. Range out to the three-point line, he has a smooth stroke that he was able to get off in tight coverage.

Impressive showing in Pool B from the sophomore forward from Princeton. Caleb was able to use his size to enforce his will on both ends of the floor. Strong rebounder that read the ball off the rim well. Showed the ability rip and run off the defensive glass. Offensively he was an aggressive driver, primarily right. Used his size and strength to finish through contact. Didn't show much range on his jumper, but loved that he stuck to his game and played to his strengths.

This was my first time seeing the lengthy freshman from Heritage Hills since the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase. Fluid athlete that showed he can play all over the floor. Good perimeter skills that make him a tough cover for bigger defenders but also has the ability to post up on the block and score over smaller defenders. Early in Game 1 he got a defensive rebound and after his outlet he had a nice rim run straight into post up and showed nice touch on a jump hook over the left shoulder. High potential kid that will continue to get better and gain confidence the more he plays.
