Many of the best athletes in Las Vegas attended Oscar Moreno and I's basketball combine at Coronado High School yesterday.

It was awesome to watch athletes compete in the athletic testing portion, and it was very evident that guys wanted to perform their best.

Every participant went through the same assessments and tests that they run at the NBA combine.

Oscar Moreno (Combine Specialist) provided state of the art technology to collect the data points, and he ran many of the tests.

David Allen (Skills Trainer) and Amir Moore (Collegiate Basketball Player) were also vital in running the combine as well.

In this article I feature the high flyers from the event.

Each of them proved that they have serious bounce and they may throw down some highlight reel dunks this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325960' first='Tavien' last='Phoenix'] utilized his lower body power and strength to claim the top spot in both the Countermovement Jump Test and Max Vertical Test. In the CMJ test he hit an eye popping 21.5 inches. While in the Max Vertical Test, he really got up and hit 39 inches. It was very impressive to watch.

Dominic Rudd's numbers weren't far behind [player_tooltip player_id='2325960' first='Tavien' last='Phoenix']'s. He posted the second best numbers in both the CMJ test and the Max Vertical Test. During the CMJ test, he bounced up to 20.1 inches. And in the the Max Vertical Test, he had some legit hang time and hit 38 inches.

The recent Missouri St. commit also participated in the combine, and he showcased his leaping abilities in the Max Vertical Test. He used a solid penultimate step to load his hips and he got up and hit 34 inches.

[player_tooltip player_id='1945840' first='Ien' last='Kirkland'] placed third in the CMJ test with 19.7 inches. He also placed third in the Max Vertical leap test, and posted a vert of 34 inches. All in all, it was a good showing in the jumping assessments from the junior wing.

The Mojave guard, [player_tooltip player_id='1794836' first='Jayden' last='Luna'], posted a 33 inch vertical in the Max Vert Test. He also posted a 18.3 inch vertical in the CMJ. Both were good for 5th in each category. Although he is just 6'0, he proved that he has the jumping ability to go up for boards with wings and forwards. We might see some dunks from him this season as well.

Western combo guard, Cameron Stephen, had the 4th best CMJ jump with a 18.4 inch vertical. Although he didn't fare as well in the Max Vertical Test, he definitely put his springy legs on display.

Tyler Merto cleared the initial rack of the vertical tester. So he had to come back and test again after we raised it. He then got up and hit 33 inches for his vertical. Considering his height, he's absolutely a threat to catch lobs this year.
