The Meadows School Wins The 3A Southern Region Championship

They grabbed a 19–11 lead thanks to their uptempo attack, and they appeared very comfortable in the first 8 minutes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the second quarter, they kept hitting shots and Virgin Valley started to fall behind. Before long, the Mustangs were up by more than 15, and they went into halftime with a 39–18 advantage.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the third quarter, Pahrump Valley chipped away just a little, but not enough to make it close. It was still 51–32 heading into the fourth. <br></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Mustangs then handled business the rest of the way. And went on to win 73-43.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Meadows School will now face Spring Creek in the NIAA 3A State Semifinals on Friday at 8 PM (at Fernley). On offense, he was getting downhill and knocked down a shot from beyond the arc. On defense, he collected a couple of steals by jumping in the passing lanes.
