October 3-5 I attended the annual Border League in Nevada at various high schools. Coronado and Silverado high schools were a couple of the main sites where college coaches were watching the talent from across the country.

Here were some of the Senior Standout guards I watched

[player_tooltip player_id='1595670' first='Ikenna' last='Alozie'] Dream City Christian

One of the top athletic guards in the country flies on the break way above the rim. His defense for a combo guard is arguably the best in the entire state He scores with downhill drives, mid-range jumpers and he is a very good passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1323290' first='Mason' last='Magee'] Basha

A pure point guard who is a big time competitor. He is a next level passer with some needle threaders making players around him better. He will blow past his defenders with some quick and-1's in traffic, pull-up threes but like Ikenna, his on-ball defense for a PG is arguably the best in the state. He verbally committed to San Francisco.

[player_tooltip player_id='1782699' first='Quincy' last='Wadley'] AZ Compass Prep

A hyper athletic bigger guard comes with length and skill. He shoots it with deep volleyball line three point range off the catch and he can rip thru to score or get to the FT line. He will make plays with full court passes with good awareness and defends the 1-3 for the Dragons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150824' first='Kaden' last='House'] AZ Compass Prep

One of the top natural scoring guards left on the board. He scores it effortlessly from all three levels with threes off the catch or pull, he creates a lot of separation on his mid-range jumpers and will get downhill to the basket and he even dunked on a six-foot ten kid showing off his bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150823' first='Kalek' last='House'] AZ Compass Prep (Pictured)

The Xavier commit had some brilliant stretches as well. He makes his money with his big time suffocating defense almost irritating his opponents. He is tough and quick with quicker hands and feet. He will also go on his own personal runs from the three point line off the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1464982' first='Miles' last='Sadler'] Bella Vista Prep

A fast, pure point guard has been labeled a Brevin Knight clone by some and he will blow past his defenders and then throw some needle threaders. He is also one of the best lob throwers in the West. His speed in unmatched and he can control a team with his passing and scoring from all levels.

[player_tooltip player_id='2960993' first='Dalen' last='Felder'] Phhoenix Prep

A scoring lead guard who can play on or off the ball. He will score it with catch threes, tough mid-range jumpers and uses the floater game. He has a quick second jump to score on put backs and will score with transition layups or reverse layups.
